I decided to replace my faithful 2014 Kindle Paperwhite because it had developed a few small issues: it wouldn’t always turn on, the light was inconsistent, and the battery life had become very hit-n-miss. When I saw this newly refurbished model at a great price (£114, with ads), I knew it was time. The ads are inconsequential—they only appear on the screensaver and are covered by my case anyway. The tactile feel of this new Kindle is smooth, making the touchscreen experience noticeably more polished and pleasant. The whole visual experience is heightened by the different lighting features, which make my bedtime reading much more comfortable. I really ummed and ahhed about replacing my trusted Kindle, but I’m rather pleased I did. My old one will still be used as my handbag Kindle.

Good device, easy to use. It will make huge difference in reading comfort ability on big screen when you will switch from mobile screen to 7inch kindle. I would recommend people to buy colour soft as you can highlight text in different colours.

Bought for my wife as our house is starting to overflow with books that she has read and probably will never read again. She was originally massively against a Kindle as she “loves the feel of the pages turning” but now has been fully converted! The kindle is easy to use, allowing her to access unlimited and download books quickly from a range of genres. I love that we can turn the lamp off and she can still read whilst I’m watching TV, and she really appreciates the paperwhite version being easier on the eyes. The size and weight are also brilliant; we used to take multiple books on holiday but now, she only needs her kindle and a charger and she’s happy! The functions on the Kindle also mean that she can see similar books right on the device, rather than researching and going to find the books for the best price in a shop. Overall, especially getting officially refurbished, this device is brilliant value for money and I’ve been recommending to everyone who likes to read.

An excellent improvement on my earlier Kindle Paperwhite: larger screen, faster, more user friendly with lots of available information about personal library, author sets etc.

Perfect condition and appears to work well but occasionally seems to reboot itself. Can’t work out if that’s me or the device at the moment.

Ich habe den generalüberholten Kindle von Amazon gekauft und bin rundum zufrieden. Bereits beim Auspacken merkt man, dass hier Qualität und Sorgfalt im Vordergrund stehen. Das Gerät wirkt wirklich wie neu, ohne Kratzer oder Gebrauchsspuren, alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Einrichtung verlief problemlos und schnell, die Lieferung war sicher verpackt und kam pünktlich an. Besonders gefällt mir, dass es sich um ein Amazon-zertifiziertes generalüberholtes Gerät handelt – man merkt sofort, dass hier jedes Gerät gründlich geprüft wurde. I’ve been using the Amazon Kindle for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made. The screen is super easy on the eyes — no glare, even in direct sunlight — which makes it perfect for reading outside or before bed. The adjustable warm light is a big plus, especially for nighttime reading. The battery life is impressive. I can go weeks without needing to charge it, even when I read every day. The device itself is lightweight and comfortable to hold for long periods, unlike a phone or tablet. It's so portable, it fits in almost every purse I own. Kindle is the way!

Gutes Gerät, die Einrichtung ging problemlose über die Kindle App. Sieht aus wie neu und unbenutzt. Kein Kratzer oder andere Gebrauchsspuren. Ruckelfreies lesen, schneller Zugriff auf meine Bibliothek.
