I'm glad I heeded most of the reviewers suggestion on going down a size or at least a half-size. I normally wear 9 in shoes and ordered these in a 8.5 and they fit fabulous. My heel meets the end of the shoe, but its not protruding over even when I walk so I'm happy. They really make your feet look smaller and slimmer and when wearing these with pants they almost appear to look like regular shoes. I'm SO HAPPY I took a chance and purchased these. I purchased these soley to wear while at home or to briefly go outside to get something, but now I'm thinking about buying ANOTHER pair to wear out while running some errands and also to take along while traveling. These would be a must have in any hotel/motel room when you don't want your feet to touch the floor, and since these do not have a toe post you can wear socks with them too! I have bad feet, and I can tell you these feel really good. I have walked in them all day since been at home and they are extremely comfortable. I promise you they should fit you the same way too if you're on the fence. Just order at least 1/2 size down for a perfect fit. UPDATE: I ordered another pair (black) (from the amazon merchant zappos). I notice there were defects and there wasn't enough fabric covering the big toe area so my big toe and the two smaller toes would come out just walking around inside my home. I returned them, and eventually reordered and now they're making the black ones with a darker shade sole AND more fabric around the toe guard. So, I'm keeping these. I own a total of 5 pair now. They feel like house slippers. I use one solely as house slippers and I rotate the others matching my outfits. I wear these from late winter thorough late fall. After that I wear my Keen newport and keen whispers. Love these!

The previous version of these Keen sandals was the best summer shoe, both comfortable and rugged. It was possible to walk for miles in them, and they lasted five years. This version is just meh, too squishy with a weird fit. Now they're just another pair of sport sandals that's okay enough for running errands. A big disappointment.

Initially, I wrote a review stating that the shoe size was too large and I was disappointed because this was my first Keen purchase and unfortunately, as it turned out, the shoe was too big. I usually wear an 8 1/2 wide. The 8 1/2 wide was sliding off my feet. So because I liked the style of the shoe, I decided to try a size 8. The size 8, fits my feet perfectly. So you may want to try a size down if the shoe does not fit you. I have arthritis and a bunion and was worried about wearing traditional flip-flops so I was excited when I found these adorable flip-flops online. They cover the bunion and provide stability so I can’t wait to wear them to the beach and the pool. I would probably rate the shoes a five, but to be honest to you as a consumer, I thought I should let you know you might have to experiment with the size. These sandals are so cute!

Love love love keens- I have a bunion and joint replacement (big toe)- these are the only shoes that feel great! I own others for competitive sailing! No marking and protection from dock cleats! I wanted a pair of slip ons because I can’t wear flip flops anymore and these are wonderful!!
