Worth every penny and a quarter of my liver!
An absolute life changer! I have been on birth control most of my life until I hit 24 when I decided to completely cold turkey, and while I was on birth control, my periods were light to next to nothing. All of a sudden, after getting off the pill it’s like I’m internally slaughtering a small village, I have been struggling for years to find something that would work for me where I wouldn’t have to change a super tampon every two hours, I finally tried this disc, and it was absolutely life-changing! It’s so easy to insert, and so comfortable you don’t feel a thing. I can go a full 12 hour day and not worry about leakage or discomfort. If you’re thinking of giving us a go, do it!

Easier to use than the cup
I was hesitant to give this a shot because I wasn't sure how easy it would be to insert and remove. I am so glad I decided to give the disc a go! It is really very easy to use compared to the cup. With the cup, it took me quite a few cycles to perfect the insertion. With the disc, I'm feeling pretty confident using it with my first cycle! With the cup, I was always paranoid it didn't open up fully after inserting or it would take a while to get it to open up. With the disc, I just insert and once it's tucked in above the pubic bone, I'm set! No more spinning the cup around to ensure it's fully expanded. Just insert disc, tuck above pubic bone and I'm good to go! However, removal is still messy for me and will require some more getting used to. Also, the disc seems to hold more and there is no leaking. None. With the cup on my second day, I usually have to empty after about 5 hours. The disc went the full twelve with no spillage/leakage. And this disc is cute. I like the little case that comes with it; makes it easy to slip into my purse. I use the large as I'm over 40 and have had a child. If you're looking to make the switch from tampons and pads, give this a try first! . I honestly wish I'd tried this before getting the cup. This was cheaper, comes with two sizes, is great quality, and is really just all around an easier product to use for me. Remember to do your research! For some, anatomically, the disc is not an option. For example, if your pubic bone is not prominent enough to tuck the disc above, the cup may be a better option for you.

Been through a few discs. . . (Hello Disc Alternative!)
I’ve tried the pixie and the lumma disc. I loved them, but the strings felt annoying to me. However, when I cut the strings on these products, I struggled to remove the discs, as the “bulbs” on the end of the strings were no longer there to help me with removal. This lead me back to the hello disc. I loved the hello disc because it didn’t have the strings—it had a pull tab— so I didn’t feel the same annoying strings below my cervix. However, my hello disc put pressure on my bladder, causing generalized discomfort. For me, the rim was too firm. Bodyotics was the disc to fix this problem for me! I’ve seen a few people say this disc was harder to insert, and I would agree—but only because the rim is more soft and gentle (try a lubricant to help if you need)! I would definitely recommend trying the hello disc due to ease of insertion, but if that disc causes discomfort, I’d recommend this disc! It’s affordable and has a pull tab! It’s the “goldilocks” disc for me, personally! (It’s similar to the soft disc but has a pull tab! I love the soft disc, but it was really hard for me to remove.) (As I side note, I’ve also used cups. Everyone is different, but discs were way easier for me!) I hope this helps! Love that this brand is so affordable! EDIT: I tried the ecoblossom disc after I had a leak with this disc. The ecoblossom disc was also too firm for me, so I came back to this one. With all my discs and cups, this is the one I come back to because it’s soft, and I don’t feel the pressure against my bladder. Definitely the perfect disc for me but wish they made a round shape, too! EDIT 2: The diva disc is my absolute favorite now. No auto dumping because of the lip. I'd recommend that one more if you don't want any auto dumping. This is my second fav though. Both are very comfortable. :)

Great first choice
I love these discs. When I bought these it was my first time using menstrual discs. I havent felt the need to try any other discs because these are just fine for me. The quality is good, they are easy to clean, and the removal tab is really helpful and easy to use.

Amazing - No longer have to buy tampons!
I have used this for two periods now and I love it. I initially thought I'd need to use the smaller one since I haven't had kids yet but I actually had to use the large. The small felt a little weird and leaked. I can't feel the large after it's in and it actually tucks behind my pubic bone a lot easier. What I really love about this disc (besides the fact that it's reusable and came with a carrying case) is that it self empties?? You push and the disc tilts backwards while it's still inside and pours out everything in there, so you don't have to do it yourself and put it back in. THAT'S crazy. It's basically like bleeding it out on demand (kind of like how guys think we do lol). I just wear a pad or pantiliner in case it fills up and I don't get a chance to empty it and it leaks (not often but it happens). Later on in the period when the flow is lighter, there's no need for pads. So now I don't buy tampons anymore!!

This product has been LIFE CHANGING! DISC - AMAZING! - You can use it for 12 HOURS. - You can be on the beach not worrying if there is a string coming out of your binikis. - You do not need to worry about where you will change the tampon, or if there is a restaurant near by. - There is NO MESS what so ever, it DOESN'T LEAK. - The disc DOESN'T EFFECT YOU'RE CRAMPS at all. - There is a small learning curve of insertion but you'll have it down in 3 tries. You just need to figure out the correct size for you (the majority of women have M-L, while S is very rare). - The only thing you need to do is BOIL BEFORE monthly USE. - After 12h you empty the cup, wash it with water and reinsert it. - It's very COMFORTABLE, EASY TO USE AND SIMPLY AMAZING BECAUSE I DO NOT NEED TO DEAL WITH IT. - And additionally, it's GREAT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT. - I used to be very irritated due to menstrual products during my period, I hated needing to deal with it, the feeling of it, the insertion etc., but this really changed my life, my mood, my irritability. I FEEL MORE CALM, AND AT PEACE DURING MY PERIOD BECASUE OF THIS DISC. Product is exactly like the pictures. Pads - made me rash with the perfumes and I felt like i'm wearing a diaper. If ona. heavier flow, sometimes you would have some blood spill over during the night, whihc doesn't happen with discs. Tampons - you can't have them in for more than 3 h, and they cause cramps and the possibility of TSS. Reuasble pads - while they are nicer for the skin, good for the environment, they move around and I still feel like wearing a diaper. Also, you need to wash them and if you tarvel around that's a bit hard sometimes, but still doable. Cup - I though that would be the bets option, since you can use it for longer periods of time and can swim with it, it eneded up being horrible for me. I hated the process of inserting and it usually hurt, I hated the vacum, and even though I cut the steem, I could still feel it. All in all it was really not nice at all for me.

Love it! It’s so comfortable and better than the last one I had. It’s very good that it comes in 2 different size so you can use the one you need depending on how much you bleed. Will recommend this to everyone I know! Just remember that you can have fun with these and the guy will not mind it because they can barley feel it

Updated review January 2025: Over a year on I’m still using these menstrual discs and I’ve recommended them to allll my friends. I’ve had no issues with leakage apart from the one instance I mentioned in my original review where my boyfriend accidentally dislodged it. They’re comfortable to wear (I often forget I have them in) and easy to clean, and although they’re more expensive than a pack of pads or tampons, by this point I’ve probably broken even. I’ve just seen another review which says they don’t last long, but this doesn’t reflect my experience so perhaps that person got a faulty product or has been a bit overzealous while cleaning (I scrub mine quite vigorously with soap before sterilising though). The fact these come as a two-pack is great as you can remove one, put the other in and clean and sterilise the first one so it’s ready for when you change it later. I can go to the toilet as normal without worrying about pushing this out or any part of it getting contaminated. I have also used them while swimming, and basically I can live my life totally as normal while wearing the disc. Can’t recommend them enough. I would love to gift these to my more eco-conscious friends or friends who struggle with pads and tampons, but I think people might find it to be a weird gift. Luckily a few of my friends have already followed my recommendation and are equally happy with the discs. Just buy them! You won’t regret it. Original review September 2023: I love these! I’ve been intrigued about menstrual discs for a while and I was going to buy the nixit disc which I think is about £40, but I had put it off for a long time as I was worried I might hate it. I have tried a menstrual cup (the moon cup) in the past and I really didn’t get on with it, I found it too stiff so it was uncomfortable to wear, and because cups rely on suction I found it really difficult to remove and was put off from ever using it again. This experience made me wonder if I would have a similar experience with discs but I wanted something more sustainable than tampons. When I saw these at about £26 for a pack of two I decided they would be a good way to try a disc without wasting too much money if it’s not for me. I’m 28 (soon to be 29) and have never been pregnant or given birth. I first tried the smaller size, which did leak but I think that’s because my boyfriend dislodged it because he was intrigued about what it was and how it fits in etc. The next day I was keen to try again so I tried the larger size, which did feel a bit bigger inside me at first, but once I relaxed I couldn’t feel it at all. They’re easy to remove with the little finger loop - the instruction say you can cut this off if you find it uncomfortable, but I can’t see how it would cause discomfort and I also think it it would make it more difficult to remove the disc. I also think that seeing the blood collected in the cup rather than it being absorbed by a pad or a tampon makes me feel more in tune with my body as I have a real sense of how heavy my flow is which I never really did before. I was kinda surprised! Additionally, we have tested the claim that you can use these to have mess free period sex and were pleasantly surprised! There was no sign of me being on my period, although my boyfriend said he could feel the disc but that it wasn’t too bad. I wanted to give them a good trial before I left the review, so I’m currently on my second period since getting them and I can confidently say I have no plans of going back to tampons. I haven’t used pads since I was in school, which is actually very risky behaviour on my part as it means that I usually use tampons overnight which promotes the risk of toxic shock syndrome. However it’s safe to use a menstrual disc overnight so this is an additional benefit. I originally thought it was kinda annoying that they come in a pack of two sizes, but both sizes work for me so that’s actually fine. My original plan was to try these first before trying the nixit disc, but I get on with these so well and they’re such good value for money, I really don’t see the point in spending almost double the amount on a single cup when I can get two for this price. Absolutely cannot fault this product; at the end of its lifespan I’m likely to buy the same product from the same brand again, and if I were to lose or damage them I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase. A note on cleaning: I understand that if I were to sterilise this in a pan, the very act of sterilising it means that I’m not contaminating the pan. However, I don’t really like the idea of potentially cooking for myself, my boyfriend, friends and family in a pan which I’ve used to clean a menstrual product. I bought a little electric steam steriliser from amazon for about £20 which works well. I remove the disc, empty it into the toilet or shower (depending on where I am when I removed it) then clean it in either the shower or sink with shower gel or handwash. Then I use the steriliser I bought. You can buy sterilisers which are just a collapsible silicone container that you fill with water, pop your disc or cup in, and microwave. I would have bought one of these but we don’t own a microwave. If your disc has an unpleasant odour once you’ve washed and sterilised it, you may have something going on down there (I wasn’t aware I had BV the first time I used my discs. I used hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the odour and I have been fine this period after treating the BV - no unpleasant odours)
