Quality anchovies, nicely packaged

Taste ok but arrived very cold w oil hard solid, with some oil leaking from jars. Anchovies basically diluted paste. Expensive paste.Yes, it’s winter but temp 43 degrees and these were removed from covered porch within 2 minutes of delivery; I was home when delivery guy rang bell, saw the truck, and opened them. Picture taken after thawed in bowl.

If you, as I was, expecting whole anchovies, this product is not it. The jars say 90g; what I was able to extract with a fork was the mush in the picture and it weighed in at 34g and this much smaller amount is floatIng around in the oil. Zero stars would have been more appropriate.

These are the best anchovies I've found yet. Great umami in any dish. I use a lot of them!
