Nice patterns to needlepoint. Or you could Cross stitch on linen. I love to needlepoint on canvas and make them into tiny throw rugs for my entryway table. Very nice!!

These patterns are for embroidering, not weaving for miniature homes. However, one could probably use the patterns as guidelines if you are a great weaver and know how to enlarge patterns to the size you want.

表紙に載っているようなミニチュア絨毯が24種類、すべて完成写真と図案が掲載されています。色もデザインも素晴らしく、どれも作ってみたくなるものばかりです。内訳はTurkey・・・4種類The Caucasus・・・9種類Iran・・・8種類Central Asia・・・3種類となっています。作品は150目前後×100目前後のものがほとんどです。ミニチュアだけあって図案が数ページに渡っているということもなく、ページの左が完成写真、右が図案、というようにとても見やすい点もおすすめです。(右に完成写真、めくって左に図案なページもありますが、見やすさは変わりません)

Stunning designs, well and clearly charted in colour. Lots of information regarding the original source.Useful information re: instructions. A very good reference book.

i have just received this book and i can't wait to start a project from it. the problem is, which carpet to embroider first as they are all lovely.
