Beautiful and sturdy
We purchased the 72-in unfinished mantel shelf and had it stained. It came out beautiful. It was easy to install and it holds weight very well as we have 2 heavy statues sitting on the mantel without any issues. Looks nice and was a good price. Came in packaging that kept it from getting damaged in transit. Very happy with our purchase.

Love Our New Mantle
This turned out to be so much better than I expected. Very nice, smooth wood to stain or paint. I couldn’t be happier with how this mantle turned out. I refinish and restore furniture so I was expecting to have to do a lot of prep work. To my surprise a very light sanding in a few places was all it needed.

The mantel had some scratches on the top and on the face of it ,I had to repair it before i could stain it .The mantel was packed very well ,so i think it was packed very well.The problem was not in the shiping .I though it would have been a little better. LARRY HECKERT
