Control Box BROKE!
We liked the shade until the control box broke after less than 90 days! So far, we’ve been unable to find a replacement or get any response from customer service...and the last straw is the return window closed after 30 days!!! I seriously wish we hadn’t spent $200 on this and had just bought a simple pull down shade instead.

Short Life, but the vendor provided repair services.
I bought two of these in February, and was pleased with them until the past week. One of the units started acting up and would only intermittently go up or down. Tonight the second unit died altogether, the power light is off. I tried to contact LinkShades about the first unit a week ago, but they did not bother to respond. I liked them real well, but 6 months seems like an awful short life for window shades.Update (9/17/2018). I have been working with the vendor for these shades for the past month and they are now back up and running. It appears that the control box was flakey on one and the shade motor went out on the other. I am satisfied with the effort they put into getting my shades back up and running, although it did take a long time. Nevertheless, I am again a satisfied customer.
