Brilliant design which works

I bought this to replace a similar type of kitchen scales and think it's great. The large surface area makes it easier to weigh larger bowls or put ingredients straight into a pan to weigh. I'm also not overly concerned about putting warmer bowls or pans onto it because of it being dishwasher proof. Easy to store too with it being so slimline. The best feature is the reasonably long auto off function - my previous scales sometimes turned off part weigh through getting extra ingredients out of the cupboard but this stays on for more than enough time! Only negative is its inability to weigh liquids with a mililitre function but I have jugs I can use for that purpose.

These scales are really well designed. It’s easy to weigh using a larger bowl or dish due to the large surface area. The weight measurements are quick to show up and consistent, unlike my previous scales that were a bit shaky! Also, the flat design and easy-clean surface makes it much more hassle free when making a bit of a mess while baking! It’s also super easy to store with it being so thin and flat, unlike my previous set of scales that were very bulky. It’s also made my general recipe following much more accurate, as the scales are so quick and easy to whip out and use, now I have no excuse! Excellent product and would highly recommend!

Good, solid design and easy to keep clean. Doesn’t usually fire up terribly quickly but stays on without getting accidentally switched off by the touch screen button too often. Easy to read and switch between Oz & g.

Since having these scales, weighing/measuring food has been so much easier! I love that the product is lightweight, slim - so it stores very easily and is very pleasing to the eye! I really like how accurate this is with it being a digital scale, as my previous scales used a dial and always seemed very unstable. The only downside to these scales, in my opinion, is that to change from g to oz, you have to unscrew the panel at the back. However, I always use grams when baking/cooking so this is not an issue for me. Overall I really enjoy using them, and love to show them off.

I loved these scales for so many reasons! The slim neat size means they look good but from a practical point they store well. The large digits make them easy to read and using my own bowl to measure in means less washing up! The streamline design and the ability to survive being in the dishwasher and immersed in soapy water means they can be cleaned well and keep that new look! All in all a good buy and I would highly recommend!

Das Design und auch die Funktionalität spiegeln sich in der Einfachheit wider. Genial ist die absolut glatte Fläche, so dass sie mit einem Wisch sofort wieder sauber ist. Und selbst wenn man ein größeres Unglück passiert, ist das kein Problem. Einfach unter den Wasserhahn oder in die Spülmaschine und sauber ist sie. Auch die großen Ziffern machen die Arbeit mit der Waage leichter. Einziger Nachteil und deshalb der Sternabzug: Bis die Waage wiegebereit ist, vergehen 4 Sekunden. Das ist einfach zu lange. Auch die Tara-Funktion springt nicht sofort an und dauert gut und gerne 1-2 Sekunden bis sie reagiert. Wer damit leben kann, bekommt eine hochwertige Waage, mit der es Spaß macht zu arbeiten. Update 7.4.2025 Die Waage läuft sich nach knapp zwei Jahren noch einwandfrei. Ich glaube, ich musste noch nicht einmal die Batterien wechseln, obwohl sie täglich im Einsatz ist. Die etwas längere Zeit bis zum Wiegestart ist im Alltag kein Problem. Die hochwertige Qualität und Robustheit ist das allemal wert.

La bilancia è perfetta. Si conferma la qualità dei prodotti a marchio Soehnle. L'utilizzo è semplicissimo e la precisione nella misurazione del peso è molto buona. Ovviamente è una bilancia da cucina con una precisione al grammo ed una capacità massima di peso di 10 Kg, quindi non propriamente adatta a pesare quantità molto piccole (tipo lievito o simili). L'impemeabilità è un plus davvero interessante in quanto permette di pulirla con estrema facilità e la rende molto più resistente a possibili malfunzionamneti dovuti a liquidi o prodotti alimentari che potrebbero insinuarsi al suo interno. Consigliata!

Product description indicates that it is easy to switch between weighing units of grams vs pounds/ounces. In fact, removal of 6 screws to access battery storage area, then pushing a button, then replacing the screws is actually required. Nothing on the website or even the product manual indicated this, which makes it completely impractical to change units. Appears to be a great scale otherwise if only one type of unit is required. I’m a fan of this brand, but this wasn’t what I was expecting.
