Bernstein's Restaurant Recipe Italian Dressing, 14 Fl Oz (Pack of 3)

This is our favorite dressing. The local grocers don't stock it, so we're happy to be able to get it from Amazon. We pay a fair bit more than we would if it were sold locally, but we consider it a treat. It's a great marinade for chicken. We put it on, allowing a little to cover the bottom of the pan, slide it into the oven for an hour at 350, and get great flavor and moist chicken.

I have loved Bernstein's Italian salad dressing for years and was so sad that it was no longer available in grocery stores. I was not disappointed in ordering the 3 bottle offer from Amazon. To make it more "Italian- Greek flavor", I add a tad of curry powder, 1/4 tsp each oregano and basil, a small bay leaf with freshly ground black pepper. I let it sit at room temp for several hours before using, then store it in the fridge. This mixture makes an awesome pasta salad ingredient too!

Only bottled dressing I use

Product is the best for marinading. Just had a problem with the delivery and the package was almost destroyed. It was way to big for those heavy bottles.

Just add some of this to Bob's Blue Cheese Dressing, added a pinch of sugar and you have a great salad dressing!

I absolutely love Bernstein's Restaurant Recipe dressing for my pasta salads when using Dry Salami. The flavor combination is perfect. I'm a bit of a snob when making veggie, pasta Salads. I couldn't find the dressing in any of the local grocery stores where I live. I would only order on line as a last resort as this was very pricey.. I felt like I was charged way to much...

Best Italian dressing second to something from scratch! Great for salads, beef/chicken marinades and in particular pasta salad (only noodles, onion, mozzarella, salami, olives and this dressing... so good!). Like many others, I lamented the fact that this brand was largely unavailable out of CA until I discovered this stuff was on Amazon! This will be the fourth time I am ordering the 3 pack and the dressing is the original. Only disclaimer I would say is that some of the bottles have leaked on occasion; not that the bottles were obviously damaged or opened but it seemed to come from possibly a bad seal on the cap. I suppose this is a recurring issue because after my third order I started to receive the bottles in an additional plastic wrap (presumably done by Amazon?). The aforementioned is the only reason 4 vs 5 stars. Do yourself a favor and try this dressing.
