Feit Electric A19 (A19/TP/LED) Purple Filament LED 25W, A19 2.38" D x 4.44" H

We've tried all types of "insect repelling" light bulbs outside, even the dark yellow ones...and we still get creepy June bugs, mosquitoes, and other flying insects. Decided to try these pretty blue lights, and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!! Bright for us to see, or for delivery persons to see our address, and NO INSECTS! SO nice! And super pretty! We have 2 porch light, plus one over our garage. Our house happens to be painted a deep steel blue, so the lights are very complementary. Also, it's really easy to find our house at night when you're looking for the pretty blue lights. We use them all year, and they look classy as well as fun! And NO BUGS, even in the hot humid summers in the Kansas City area! LOVE THESE!

Great lightbulb to add some spooky flair to an outdoor Halloween setup.I actually bought this to use in the middle of the night for changes for the baby since it would be less harsh than a standard bulb. However I didn’t realize that the light I owned took a non-standard sized bulb, oops! So we pivoted and decided to use it for Halloween! It looks great for our spooky set up, bur I think would also work well for middle of the night changes. The bulb is clear, not red frosted so the red color is coming from the filaments and casts an even red glow.

This is a blue black light Edison bulb. I enjoyed using it in my bedroom at night because it's easier on the eyes then my overhead bedroom lights. So far they've had a great lifespan. Great bulb quality and functionality.

These are a lot brighter than I thought they would be given their low power consumption. As others have noted, the bulbs have clear glass, but are definitely purple. Our light fixtures are motion sensitive and have two levels of brightness depending on whether motion is being detected and the dimming worked as advertised. It was such a great effect, we left them up after Halloween.

Both bulbs arrived intact and functional, but one box had some broken glass bits from what appear to be another shape and tint of bulb inside with the intended (and again, I stress, fully intact and functional!) bulb. Normally I'm not one to complain about free gifts, but this time I'll make what I think is an understandable exception. All told it was enough to make a small pile less than 1cm across, and kudos to the box designers because none of the bits seem to have escaped during transit, which was easy to deal with once I realized what I was working with - but, I'm one person. Somebody with kids might not be so lucky. Other than that? If you need a colored, dimmable LED bulb that fits a standard socket, you'd be hard pressed to find better for this price - just stick it in a good shaded socket, it puts out a considerable amount of blacklight-UV in addition to the blue light and that's not something anybody should be staring directly into.

We put these in our bedroom for help with our circadian rhythms. Maybe it's placebo, but at the very least it's relaxing. I love that it's an actual red filament. We turn them on around 10 PM every day and start winding down. We've been using them for a month now with zero issues.
