Really good microscope.I was skeptical to this item. But price and quality is impressive. It came with lab kit and batteries. You can do lights more brighter and less.Bought for my son's 7 year birthday.We watched samples which are in kit, and throughout magnifying lenses you can see tiny things very clear.I did take sample from mould ( which growed on lemon) and i was impressed how beautiful it is. Without microscope you cannot see all spores. My husband was exploring that mould spores for an hour,moving sample glass different ways to see it from all sides.So it's very interesting for adults and kids.I'm not disappointed. I'm impressed!!!Thanks for this microscope.

Arrived today so still getting to know it but so far very impressed. It feels sturdy and solid. The light is dimmable so you can choose its brightness. Good adjustability to the height, and lenses work fine. Image quality is good, as good as I remember from my school days. It comes with several pre-filled glass slides for instant use. There is also a micro-shrimp growing kit for fun experiments. Can't wait to show this to my little nephew. He's a little too young to handle the glass slides (and I've removed the microtome from the kit for now), so I bought a set of kids' plastic pre-filled slides and those also work well in this microscope.

Very good looking and hopefully this will inspire a curiosity in science and nature.Easy to use and a nice clear view of the specimen being looked at with three levels of magnification.

I bought for my 12 year old for Christmas along with some prepared slides, he loves it and in his words this is the best present ever!The quality and images are amazing. I snapped this photo using my camera phone down the lense of the microscope of some chicken blood (part of the prepared slide pack purchased separately)Excellent value for money and perfect for his age.

Great little microscope for any inquisitive child. My son who turned 9 wanted one for his birthday and I am satisfied this was a good choice. It comes with a neat kit with plenty of slides and a handy booklet to get them started. Comes with some experiment ideas like yeast etc for them to prepare their own slide. Great price and microscope is good quality. Onyl thing missing is a lab coat for the full feel. Definitely a great buy.

Very impressive for the price. A great way to introduce people to microscopic things. The included samples are fine and has some spare empty slides but no slide covers which would have been helpful.

Easy to use for my 7 year old. Fun experiments and ideas included as well as slides to create own studies. Fab.

Gift for my just turned 8 year old granddaughter who wants to be a scientist! She enjoyed the microscope right out of the box by looking at her hair, blades of grass and flower petals. I think as she gets older she will enjoy it even more as she works on experiments and discovery on her own.

My son loves this and it’s a great teaching tool

My daughter loves it, the DEL lighting makes it way easier to operate than other models with mirrors. It’s worth the price.
