Waterproof, lightweight and breathable thanks to the gore-tex material. I have hiked a small hill and I loved it. Got one size bigger for longer hikes. Overall all very good hiking shoes.The only con I can say is the tongue should be a bit longer. As if you tie the laces little loose or it came loose while you walk. It might slip over the tongue. Other than that they are great.
