** 3 Year Update 2021 **
Nov 2018 - Original Purchase Date: Bought pack of 3 in grey. Bought the 6.5 to 8.5 mens even though my size is 9.5. Wanted a snug fit and they fit great with no excess. 1 pair after washing weighs 53g/1.8 oz/ Backpacked 3 full days in the mountains and some rain. No issues at all. Good cushion on foot bottoms, heel, and the top of foot. Feet breathed adequately with the nylon stocking-like ventilation areas where padding is not needed. I can't speak for drying time in the field because it was wet and overcast the whole time but they would dry fine in the sun or dry air. They hold up well ** 3 Year Update 2021 ** These Danish Endurance socks have suffered several hundred miles and many laundry/dryer cycles in the last 3 years and they are holding up very well. The Merino wool is now clearly looking like well worn wool should look. On ~10 to 12 occassions I have worn the same pair for 5 days straight, backpacking 40 to 60 miles in the wet and humid Appalachian & Smoky Mountains and they continue to perform better than I had expected. Quick Dry? Yes, on low humidity days just like anything else. Hanging overnight on a humid night allows them to dry somewhat. Re-wearing the next day is actually not a bad experience at all. These socks don't stink just as Merino wool is advertised. Comfort? I buy smaller sized socks to ensure they don't bunch up in my shoes/boots and that makes them comfortable for me. My feet never get hot in the summer with these. Holes? None in 3 years. If you get holes near your toe nails... trim your toe nails. If you get holes on the pads/heels of your feet... stop walking around the house with them. The elastic around the lower calf has not worn out at all. Smartwool, etc.? Yep, those are great socks. I have a bunch, but I don't hike with them in the warm season. I wear these. These are higher quality than expected socks for a fair price. If you find bad reviews for these socks, oh well. I just bought another pack of these so I have more when my 3 year old socks decide to quit.

Perfect.
Absurdly comfortable and high quality. I had been wearing Smart Wool for years, but these are for sure my new go to for hiking, and they're excellent for daily wear as well. Great in any weather, really, thanks to the merino. Will be reordering soon!

Good but short
These socks are comfortable and offer good temperature and moisture control. However, the tops are short. I often find a bare skin gap between my socks and the bottom of my pants.

Good socks
Nice fit and finish. Looks dressy enough for work. Comfortably soft fabric, little thick though. Holding up nicely to use and washing.

Good value
Nice quality and great value. I love breathable merino wool for warm weather hikes. Mesh and nice and seems durable. Have been wearing for a few months with multiple washes and no issues yet. Would buy more again.

Best socks I’ve ever put in my feet!
Best socks I’ve ever worn. I bought them for some summer hiking around Maine and New Hampshire. I was able to get these same day from Amazon to save the trip (I had ordered others that were cheap and very thick) and was pleasantly surprised at how nice they were. I didn’t even have time to wash them, just threw them in my bag and hopped on my plane. I wore one pair around on a day of mild walking to test them out and was pleasantly surprised at how great they were. The next day was our first hike and I loved them. Kept my feet dry and comfortable all day. Later on the trip we did a waterfall hike on a rainy day, so the fear of blisters was on my mind but they held up and my feet felt great all day. Seriously the best socks I’ve ever put on my feet. I’ll definitely buy more, soon!

Fine quality, but barely any cushion even for a lightweight hiking sock
They’re fine. Not great quality, too little cushion compared to Smartwool socks that are also marketed as lightweight. True, these are stated to be lightweight. But they look to have at least some cushion based on the photos. But in reality they are barely more cushioned than dress socks.
