It is wonderful to find shoes that are shaped like feet.
It has been a long time waiting for someone to make shoes that are shaped like feet, with no raised heel, for less than $100. I have tried Lems, Vivobarefoot, and a few others, and they fine, but for the cost, I want them to last a long time. These are inexpensive enough that I am wearing them most every day for over a year, for everything from hiking to shopping to work. They came with padded insoles which I immediately removed since my feet are the result of a few hundred thousand years of evolution of humans walking around without padding under their feet. I have learned to enjoy the little rubber doohickeys on the laces that make it unnecessary to tie them. I wish the doohickeys were not bright orange as it draws attention, so people sometimes tell me that my shoes are untied. If I was going to wear them on a difficult hike I would tie them tightly, but I have gotten used to them feeling like wearing a pair of loose slippers most of the time. I have no complaint regarding the build quality, for the heavy use I have put them through, they have held up quite well. The sole has decent traction, I have not noticed any problems walking on wet surfaces.

Surprisingly Great Barefoot Shoes – 100% Recommend!
I picked up these men’s barefoot shoes with a wide toe box for under $40, and I’m seriously impressed. They’re incredibly lightweight with just the right amount of padding in the insole — enough to stay comfortable without sacrificing that barefoot feel.I’m 5'9", about 160 lbs, and normally wear a size 9.5. I went with a size 9 wide, and the fit is perfect. I wear them at work where I walk several miles a day, and they’ve held up beautifully. The soles have excellent traction — whether they’re made of natural rubber or not, they feel great and grip well. They’ve become my go-to shoes, and I’ve already convinced a few coworkers to give them a try. I get tons of questions about them because they’re simple but work amazingly well. I’m planning to grab a few more pairs in different colors. For the price, comfort, and performance, these shoes are an unbeatable value. I wouldn’t be surprised if the price goes up once more people catch on. 100% recommend buy!

These are alright for the price point.
I’ve been trying to find some shoes that are comfortable and fit my wider foot. I came across the concept of barefoot/minimalist shoes. Not trying to break the bank, I found these. These seem to work alright. I haven’t worn them enough yet to fully comment, but after trying several these fit. I have a black gum pair and am thinking about the white. And they don’t look silly to me either.

Unbelievable performance, great value, hard work.
I absolutely love these shoes. After six months my toes are actually straightening out after a lifetime of “normal” shoes. And my arches are becoming much stronger. You have to go into a barefoot shoe knowing that they are zero drop, heel to toe, and there is very little support. They are probably not for everyone. But I have made the transition at age 66! You can start by wearing them a couple of hours a day and work up. We live in a townhouse, and I’ve developed all kinds of exercises on the stairs, also barefoot, eccentric and concentric. It really has become a way of life. Give themselves a shot for $35 bucks. Also, if you have a lot of excess body weight, I’d be careful.

comfort with style
These are awesome. I am a woman with a big foot true 10.5 wide. I bought the 11. the 10.5 may have worked but I needed to get them now and not have to reorder. I will keep them.. I teach construction classes and they kept up with the still I teach of walking around during class. I wear wide shoes because after years of the cute shoe my feet say "take care of us better or we will not keep you walking in joy." these have a stylish enough look (not so male looking) to keep me soft while walking soft. Got them on sale so the price point was perfect.

Wider Toebox, not Minimalist at all
So responding first to the advertised claims: Wide toe box? Yes, however still not wide enough for me, unfortunately. Zero drop? Remove the insole and this checks. Minimalist? Hardly. The sole, while not having a lot of stack height is still rather substantial. My first impression taking these out of the box was how unusually heavy they seemed for a minimalist shoe. Perhaps the only aspect that begins to approach minimalist is the near complete removal of arch support when the insole is removed. Even in this state, the ground-feel is notably absent. On the positive side, the top fabric appears to be quite wear-resistant. Grip is reasonably good on indoor surfaces, but the soles do have a tendency to squeak on some surfaces. And while the toe box is wide, the foot volume size doesn't get too loose in the mid section or heel. If you do choose to remove the insole, you will need to really cinch down the laces to get a secure fit (unless you have a large/thick foot volume).Overall, the shoes are a decent value, especially for someone with wider feet, and they're easily passable with business casual dress.

Great looking shoes at a really good price.
I started wearing barefoot (zero drop) style shoes after years of discomfort in "regular" shoes. They just fit me better and I find that I didn't end up with horrible foot pain at the end of the day. Now, that's really all I will wear. Unfortunately, a lot of these style shoes can be really expensive... then I found this brand. They're really comfortable and have a couple of style options and several colors to choose from. A really good "bang for your buck." ~ My only real complaint is that they can be a little inconsistent with sizing and have run a tad bit big at times. Sadly, they don't offer half sizes, so a little trial and error may have to take place to make sure you get the perfect fit. But once you get that worked out, you'll want them in every color.
