While I don’t have a major hearing problem, I sometimes find myself in situations where a bit of hearing amplification would be useful. Such as at dinner parties, at conferences, or other situations that have a lot of different people taking over each other. I often find that it becomes hard to distinguish certain speakers, especially in situations when they don’t annunciate or speak up well. Additionally, I was also looking for a solution to help amplify sound in more quiet settings without wearing noticeable headsets. I am not at a point that I need expensive medical hearing aids, and so these hearing aids fit the bill perfectly.What I really like about these hearing amplifiers is that they look just like any other ear pods, except that they amplify sounds around you rather than play music. They came in a handy charging/carrying case that I keep in my pants pocket so I have them available anytime I need them.Using them is extremely easy. As soon as you take them out of the charging case they are on and ready to amplify sounds for you. Insert them like any other ear pods in your ear. I find them to have a very comfortable fit and they are very light weight. You have five levels of sound amplification which is easily adjusted by simply tapping the side of the pod. The amplification provides a very clear sound output and I love how quickly you can adjust the levels as the environment changes.Also, depending on your need, you do not need to wear both pods for them to function. If you like, you can wear a single pod as long as it helps you to better hear and understand in the situation you find yourself.in. The pods battery should last for well over 12 hours, getting you easily through an entire day, and you can recharge them up to 6 times in the case before needing to charge the case itself.One word of caution, if you do wear “noisy” earrings, the pods may pick up and amplify the sound of them. So just be aware, this is similar to when someone with a lapel microphone has a necklace scratching against it.For anyone looking for an alternative and maybe temporary solution that does not require permanent medical hearing aids at the moment, I can only highly recommend this hearing amplifiers. The price point is certainly worth giving them a try if you have ever been in a situation that you couldn’t follow a conversation because of too much extraneous surrounding noises.

I bought these to hear conversations better, but although these earbuds look great, they mostly amplify background noise so they are not really effective. If you put them at the max level yes, you can hear better but it's mostly the wind or fan/AC or whatever you have running in the background. I'm disappointed, will be returning them. Also, the pair I was sent was visibly returned by a previous customer, as it did not have the USB charging cable, and the user manual had some handwriting on it (!!).

I purchased these amplifiers for my mom, who has been reluctant to consider a hearing aid. My hope was that these devices would serve as a gentle introduction to improving her hearing. After she tried them, she exclaimed, “Wow, what a difference!” which was a very encouraging response.These amplifiers significantly enhance her hearing ability, particularly during our travels. She often struggles to hear me while we’re moving around, but these devices have made communication much easier in crowded or noisy environments, like airports or busy streets. Additionally, we’ve noticed that we can keep the TV volume much lower, which is a relief for both of us—she used to have it set quite high, which was uncomfortable for me.One drawback I’ve noticed is that sudden, unexpected sounds, like our dog barking, can come through quite loudly, which might be startling. It seems that it will take her some time to get accustomed to adjusting the settings for comfort. Nevertheless, I find these amplifiers to be of high quality—easy to adjust and quite versatile in various settings.Considering their affordability compared to standard earbuds, which can be just as expensive or more, I believe they are a worthwhile investment. The amplifiers come neatly packaged and include a user manual, a USB-C charger, a cleaning brush, and a storage case, making it convenient for us to keep everything organized. Overall, I’m hopeful that these amplifiers will continue to enhance her daily experiences and gradually encourage her to embrace the idea of a hearing aid in the future.

The instructions that come with this are not clear. The first set of these I ordered I could not get to work. They appeared not to be charging. I could charge the outer case - flashing then solid blue light but the actual ear pieces never acted charged and the instructions said a green light would indicate they were charging but the green light only flashed on briefly. I returned the first pair but ordered another thinking the first pair were defective. The second pair acted the same regarding the charging lights BUT I noticed that the stem of the earpieces had a blue spot that looked like part of the earpiece but I discovered was actually a peel off sticker. Once I removed the sticker this pair charged! I sure wish the instructions said peel off the sticker! Anyway, now that they are active they work pretty well, stay put, don't hurt my ear and amplify the sound.

Good but not great. They make everything louder, but also increase interference as well.

I got these amplifiers for my husband who refuses to get a hearing aid. I thought this might ease him into it. He tried them and said, “Wow what a difference,” so that was a good start. They do the job and I think we will be able to use them especially when we’re traveling as he has a hard time hearing me as we’re going around. Also, we were able to lower the volume on the TV as he was able to hear with the set lower than he normally has it (which is too loud for me). The one downside is that unexpected noises – like the dog suddenly barking – can come in really loud. I suppose it takes a little while to get used to setting them comfortably. That being said, they are high quality, easy to adjust the volume and can be very useful in certain situations, worth the cost as some typical air pods can cost about the same amount or more. Comes out of the box with user manual, charger (USB C-Type), cleaning brush and case.
