Does it help lower triglycerides levels?

The niacinamide version of vitamin B is effective for skin and arthritis. The niacin or nicotinic acid version of vitamin B is effective for cardiovascular health. But remember, cholesterol level itself is a poor indicator of cardiovascular health. It's the composition and nature of the cholesterol that matters. One of the best markers of cardiovascular health is the ratio of triglycerides to HDL. Note that your LDL isn't even part of the measurement. That's because if your Triglycerides/HDL ratio is low, the probability is very high that your LDL consists of the large, boyant particles, as opposed to the small particles--and that's a good thing, even if your LDL is relatively high, causing your overall cholesterol level to appear high. You want that Triglycerides/HDL ratio to be below 3. And very fit people have ratios below 1. I find that a combination of high-omega 3 fish oil and niacin is a great combo for cardiovascular health. You just have to work with your doctor to find the right amounts of each to take daily to get the best results.

is this the kind that is no flush? some reviews say it is but other reviews say it causes the flush. the description says it is no flush.

Niacinamide (this one) is the one that does not give a flush. Niacin is the kind that many people will experience a flush from.

how does niacinamide differ from nicotinamide?

I Googled the difference and this is what came up: "Nicotinamide (NAM), also known as niacinamide, is a form of vitamin B3 found in food and used as a dietary supplement and medication. ... While nicotinic acid (niacin) may be used for this purpose, nicotinamide has the benefit of not causing skin flushing." I take this product twice daily (I take it on an empty stomach when I get up and right before bed, but you could take it with food if you wanted to) it does not bother my stomach and I do not get skin flushing. I've had 4 surgeries to remove basal cell carcinoma and decided to give this a try. I'm also using a B3 Niacinamide serum on my face & neck 2x day. I don't tknow if there is any way to know if it truly helps, but I figured it can't hurt.
