It works by ripping the hair out at the root, below the skin. It hurts like crazy. If you do want to use this method, this is the best I've used. If you buy not so good wax, it hurts a lot more and you have to rip the wax off more than once. Too much heat or ripping it off too many times can tear off the top layer of your skin. I only use this one. Saving money here is not a good idea. Just me.

Would the 14 oz bag be enough for one set of underarms and lower legs?

I got the 32 oz bag and I waxed legs multiple times and still had beads left over, so even though this bag is a little less than half i think it’s plenty! :)

Do you need a container to put the wax in the warmer?

We have a "bucket" in our wax warmer to contain the beads as they melt. It is a removable metal bucket and also have used it as a double broiler in a pot of boiling water to melt the beads. I hope this helps.

What is the full list of ingredients?

Not sure! I already used it. But I can say I had no problems or irritations from it. It melted great also.
