Q: I read 1 review that said the peg for actual stacking only sits on the plate and does not attach. Is this true?

It attaches but it doesn't latch into place. You can simply pull it apart. I wouldn't recommend this toy at all. The dented donuts and terrible paint job is not worth the asking price.

Q: I have a hand me down of one of these. Is the plastic on this one durable? My son broke a donor on my tile floor.

It's not the best plastic the colors aren't as vibrant as shown in the picture but my son has had his a while and it's held up pretty great no paint has worn off and nothing has broke or dented so far and he chews on them every day although the doughnut hole topper is pretty sharp on the inside.

Simple yet entertaining

Super cute and seems safe

I was looking for toy donuts for my toddler, and a lot of the reviews for fake/toy donuts warned that the sprinkles came off. I wanted something cute but safe (where the sprinkles didn’t come off), and this product fit the bill. My daughter loves stacking them and playing restaurant with them.
