How long will these last in storage?

I have had some packages in storage for about 5 months and it seems to be perfectly fine. I have used it to fix my Frog Eye Salad and its great.

What does the #78 indicate?

I think it has something to do with the size. It is a very small bowl tie and wonderful for soups and salads. I use it all the time so buy it by the 5 pack. Cooks up quite quickly too. It measures 5/8" x 1/4" and when cooked it almost double but not quite.

How long does it take to cook?

It takes about 9 minutes, Use a strainer with small holes as the pasta is very tiny.
