Easier than the others
It does a lot of things and is basically a Baofung but with easier but similar menus and air band. Get a good airband antenna on this thing and its fairly sensitive.

Radtel 920 experience
Very pleased with this purchase! It works as described and the programming app is a plus! The manual and videos out on YouTube help to make for very easy learning!

Defective Radios?
I purchased this radio hoping to listen to frequencies other than the standard 2m, 440 ones. The radio worked fine for a couple hours then stopped letting me switch to those bands including listening to FM radio. I did two factory resets to hopefully correct the problem (which fixed it briefly) but then stopped working again. I sent that radio back for a replacement to see if it was an isolated incident but the second radio turned out worse than the first. I reached out to the company for help and they told me to unload new firmware however that would force me to purchase a data cable which I didn't want to invest more money and find out that wouldn't work either. So I ended up returning the second radio as well. I don't need a radio that only hears and talks on the standard 2m, 440 bands since I already own several radios that do that.

A feature rich radio, with some issues
A major issue for me and who ever purchases this radio is Programming! It has 940 memories in several groups, but the CPS software requires each memory to be hand entered, and the Bluetooth software also requires hand entry. It took house to put in about 50 channels. My other issue is the buttons are very difficult to push and my man hands and small buttons make it worse. The documentation isn't real helpful. This is the worst to use of all my Radtel radios.

I really like it now!
My opinion on the 920 has changed 180 degrees. They put a lot of thought into this one. HF works great. The audio fidelity on this radio is as good as my Motorola Saber, none of the other CCR's have come close. Receiver is sensitive and the squelch sens is better on the replacement I got. The display was crooked but I opened the radio up and tweaked the display straight. In doing so I found that the front trim really is metal and not some plastic fake, plus, there is a ground strap that makes contact with it, probably to mitigate display noise, btw, of which there is none. And the radio is as solid as any commercial radio I've had. IMO build quality is much better than the rt-880. I hope they will fix the long squelch tail though.
