Minus33 Merino Wool Trailblazer Men's Full Zip Hoodie - No Itch Renewable Fabric

Great hoody.
This hoody is just what I was looking for. Light weight but adds a lot of warmth without making you feel hot. Merino wool is very soft and does not itch. Easy to pack as well. I’m not a bulky person so I like the slim fit and it works well for layering under other clothes. Hood works great with two stitches - one on each side instead on one on top. This helps it fit under a helmet (bike, ski, motorcycle, construction). I use this for everything. Kind of pricey but seem well worth it.

Buying a second one
Ordered on a whim because it had fast delivery, and it has quickly become my favorite hoodie. Fits slim and long, warm enough for cool days but not too hot to wear indoors.

Excellent quality!
Very comfortable and perfect for exactly what I needed. Not only that being mostly a natural fiber this is an excellent addition to anybody’s wardrobe.

Multi-Function Outdoor Comfort
I've been looking for something like this for a long time. It has almost all of the best features of an ideal mid-weight wool outdoor/active garment: It has a full front zip, It's plenty long, so even on a bicycle, you're covered. It has THREE ZIP pockets (although the chest pocket is small). It has sleeves with extra length and thumb hole that can be used either as regular sleeves, or extended down for some hand warmth. The sleeves with thumb hole are also nice under an outer shell to keep the sleeves in place. The feel of the Merino wool fabric is heavenly even on bare skin, and it has just the right amount of stretch. Might not be good if you have too much of a gut. What's missing is a drawstring on the hood - important when walking into a headwind or if you want to cinch it all the way down to a nose-sized hole while sleeping. At least its hood is somewhat form fitting, and not likely to blow off your head in a light headwind. I encourage buying American, or at least from honorable trading partners, and Amazon is not as good as they used to be about disclosing country of origin: This garment came from China. I would prefer a solid color. If I could split the stars, I'd give it 4.5 .

High quality real merino wool light sweater
I bought this for my 21 y/o son. He loves it. It is light weight (thin) but since it’s Merino wool, it’s neither too hot or too cool. It feels more like cotton. It is very well made and has kept its shape and color after multiple washes. He wears it almost daily. It was an excellent purchase.

Just what I needed
I am a world nomad. I sometimes I stay in Bnbs without heating. I ordered a very large version of this, so that I could wear it over my nano puff jacket while cooking to protect the nano puff from heat and hot oil. I have found that I wear it every day. I will go from the chilly mornings with the hood up and the zipper zipped, to the hot afternoons. When I get hot the hodie is thin enough that I can tie the sleeves around my neck and wear it like a cape, ready to put on to go into a church. The wool is soft and doesn't bother my skin at all. One very cold night I used it as a night shirt and was nicely warm.

baggy hood
The garment is form fitting except for the hood. That is baggy, can't cinch it down. Might be ok if you are tall. I returned it

Excellent base or mid layer for active people.
Super comfortable merino wool in a well made hoodie has extra coverage in the back also the hoodie is two layers thick for extra warmth on your bean. I like the thumb holesplus the extra length on the sleeves for putting on extra layers and gloves. I ordered this in extra large for my layering setup for camping and backpacking, it's an essential part of my gear... update: of the five PCs of Minus33 gear I purchased this and one other are the only ones that are not falling apart.
