TYR Men's Standard Durafast Elite Racer Swimsuit

I got this for my son and it has been a game-changer for him during water polo! The fit is perfect—tight and streamlined, which helps to keep it from getting pulled. The material is super durable and feels like it’s built to last. It’s also comfortable enough to wear for extended periods, which is important since I spend many hours in the pool. He said it was supportive and secure but not too constricting. It stays in place even during the most intense swims, and the high-performance design really makes a difference when it comes to speed and mobility. I highly recommend a Speedo. It’s a solid choice for any water polo player or swimmer looking for comfort, speed, and reliability!

Still kicking after almost a year off twice weekly wear

My first TYR briefs and they fit great. 34 is my measured waist (30,31, or 32 in jeans) and the size 34 fits well without being too tight and constricting. My only disappointment is the colour is off a bit. In the product photo you see all those bands of what looks like teal? With the actual product it is more of a standard Irish green so the overall effect is they look darker than pictured. It was really the only one I liked in this lineup of patterns. But they still look good and the main thing is the comfort level. If I had it to do over again I would just get a standard solid pair with no pattern.

That's "B" for "Brief!" It's minimalist, racy and dignified! The print is vivid and gorgeous! Indeed it lives up to the name of print "Vitality!" Stretch your imagination beyond the leg bands - swimming and running... The coverage is "flavor at its peak!" I speak of major classic lines around the legs front and back. The fabric material is feather light and smooth. The fit is tight but not in the sense some wearers fear; just the right tightness. Decades earlier, in 1991 and 2000 I tried Speedo and Nike brands, respectively. Even a red size-32 conventional Speedo brief had too-tight leg bands. The Nike brief at size 30 wasn't much more comfortable than the red Speedo at size 32. This is comfort for my body for a swim I never experienced before in a swimsuit purchased anywhere! This brief is so good TYR should bring back singlets for men to match or coordinate with these beauties.

The swimsuit arrived on time. It is a very attractive pattern. I find the material used for the suit to be durable and comfortable.

I like the quality. Very good colors.Fabric is solid. This is the 3rd pair Im buying this summer. I love to have multiple choice options. My jeans/underware size is 34/L but I saw some reviews mentioning too snug fit and recommending getting next size. I like comfort and I got a size up 36 and it was the right decision. I'm 5'11 220lbs athletic type. I hope this information will help other buyers. One negative thing to mention . I ordered 2 pairs and to fit them in very tiny shipping bag seller removed the retail bag (it's like Ziploc). This may not make happy some customers, especially those buying this product as a gift. Seller shouldn't do that. Brand new product must come in retail packaging.

I'm a TYR fan. That said, I have bought other cheepos. The Good I have had this suit in size 28 for some months now. I swim four days a week for at least an hour. Wears like iron as they say. Looks like new. Coverage, check. Relatively snug - okayish. The Bad Can never be an comfortable as lycra. Personally I was expecting a tighter fit as I prefer but it is not fully lined so that is why. Other thoughts I always cut the liner out of suits if there is only a front liner present. This makes them fit more comfortable as the fabric is now a uniform i.e. one layer right through unlined or lined fully. I choose dark colours so nothing is visible. Because this suit is more poly based, you can sit on the edge of the pool or anywhere with a relatively low risk of pillage. Interestingly, the somewhat rough texture keeps my bits in place nearly eliminating a need for readjusting. I am moving more and more towards narrow sides i.e. 2" or less for comfort and freedom of movement so this might end up being a backup. If you have to get one suit that is going to take punishment and you are not into 'euro' briefs, get this suit.
