The best reusable menstrual pad I’ve found
I really do like these. They are made out of a nice, soft jersey material so they aren’t quite as warm next to your skin. Some of the other styles/patterns of reusable pads are made of thin flannel or felt, so they are just a little too warm in the summertime here in GA. They are a great length, as well. I wear a size 12 or 14 and many of the disposable pads simply are not long enough for me. When I used disposable pads more regularly, I would often have to buy the greater absorbency ones, just to get the proper length. These are still big, long pads obviously, being super absorbency, but the coverage is really good. I think the thickness of the pad is just right. Sometime into my 30s, I found I just couldn't use disposable pads anymore without getting rashes and bad irritation, despite never have experiencing those problems before. These have helped so much with that.I have been using these and other reusable pads regularly for about 6 months now. One thing to consider if you want to switch to using reusable pads more regularly is how often you need to change your pad. You’ll still need to change the reusable pad about as often as a traditional pad. After spending close to $600 on various sets and individual pads over the past year, I can honestly say I don’t think you’ll find a better pad than this one. If you wanted to buy only one pad to start, I would recommend this one. I most often use this one on the second night of my period, so it does get a lot of use, yet it still looks new and washes up really well. Also, do not be put off by having to do a bit of extra laundry every month with these. It’s really not a big deal at all. If you do any kind of hand washing even semi-regularly, I don’t think it will bother you in the least. However, do not think you even have to do that much if you don’t feel like it. You’ll still be fine even if it is not convenient for you to soak these after use. I find it easiest to just hop in the shower and rinse it right off with the shower head. Everything just rinses right out and you don’t even have to do any extra scrubbing. Then, I just take it and add it to my other laundry loads, even to regular clothing loads. These are sturdy pads, so it’s really no problem. Most of the time, I rinse them off, spritz some stain remover on them, and throw them in a waterproof laundry bag until I have enough pads to do a separate load, usually every other day or so. You can also buy a small enamel soaking pot with a lid if you would rather keep everything right in your bathroom. These are truly only super absorbency pads, not quite enough for me to use on the first night of my period personally. They work better during the daytime of my first day if I have a heavier flow then, or for the second night of my period, I think. I have yet to find a really good reusable overnight pad from any company. However, I find these pads are more than adequate for my heavy flow during the daytime and they stay much drier, too, for longer than I could use traditional pads. I enjoy using these and highly recommend them if you’re interested in trying them.

awesome!
they don't slip and slide around and the absorption is phenomenal, you can wear this for a full 8+ hours and not feel gross like disposable pads with the chemical smell and tendency for them to make your nether regions all sweaty. i thought the price was a bit extreme compared to other brands, but Lunapads technology is unmatched by other cloth pads that i have tried, but the reliability is 100% worth the price. i find the "super" pad is best for overnight because it does feel like really thick cotton panties (not quite a diaper feeling bc no plastic) due to its large size, but i can sleep through the night and wake up without any leaks.i personally had some trouble with fading/discoloration on the purple pads, but nothing that had any effect on the performance of the pads.the "mini" and "maxi" would be better for daytime use and are more discreet in tight clothing compared to the "super", but still last me at least 8 hours even on a heavy day.

Incredibly comfortable
The second I put the lunapad super performa pad on I decided that I’m never wearing tampons/generic pads ever again. These are extremely comfortable and great for sensitive skin, feels as if I’m wearing normal clothing. The super pad has a ton of coverage. Yes price point is high, but nonreusable tampons and pads cost hundreds of dollars over the course of a few years. Definitely worth it!

Great for my health and the environment!
On the higher price range but it’s so soft to your skin. I use this for night time. I’m petite so this might not be long enough for some other people. Better for my health and the environment! Expect the same comfort, if not better, as disposable pads of the same size, except I don’t get the usual rash that comes with the disposables. Some recommended soaking these 30min prior to machine wash and that worked for me. Delicate dry cycle since I don’t want the extreme heat to potentially ruin the water proofing layer. I usually wear cotton underwear with these and tighter pants to prevent these shifting too much.

No more leaks!
These have been the best find! Heavy menses and sneaky leaks are tamed. Hesitant with having to launder them but it is easy. So comfy.

Best reusable pads ever!
These pads are a godsend! I developed an allergy to adhesive and can no longer use disposables. I found these and will never, ever use anything else! They are comfortable. They absorb great. At first I was afraid of leaks and thought it was inevitable that they would occur. But they did not. These may be a tad expensive but they are worth every penny!

Best reusable cloth period pads
I had been gifted the smaller purple large and smaller lighter day black pads which have served me well for a while, I felt the need to expand my collection because I'm working longer hours & don't always want to wear a period cup. These are comfortable to sleep in or for being on your feet running in 12 hour shifts (which I do in hospital). The absolutely absorb well, are easy to care for and last quality wise. Will definitely replace them or buy more directly from Lunapads. Thank you Jane & Lunapads for reaching out!
