Exo Terra Sun-Glo Daylight Halogen Lamp, 150-Watt

I don’t understand why all my bulb are just turning off at night and then they are not on in the morning they are not blowing out just stop lighting up

Had for one week and it’s already not working.

I have a 120 gallon tank and it’s hard to find a bulb strong enough to heat up the bottom to the correct temperature, esp in the winter. I was skeptical of this bulb because of its size but according to the chart on the box it would provide the heat I need so I decided to give it a try. I’m happy to say that it’s exactly what I need and provides the perfect amount of heat. I would caution customers with smaller tanks. This bulb produces a lot of heat and typical sized tanks will probably get temps over 100 degrees at the bottom of the tank with the bulb on a screen top.

I recently upgraded my bearded dragons tank to a 4x2x2 and needed a stronger light, this 150 watt is perfect maybe a little too hot for my enclosure but I have the dimmable lamp for that purpose.

Sadly this brand has gone down hill for us. We've used these bulbs for some time, but lately I'm changing them at least weekly (last one lasted less than two days). I even bought a new housing, but same results.

Great heat and light source for my bearded dragon but only lasted 3 months.

I bought this for my Savannah monitor and it seems like most of the light and heat are concentrated the most right in the center. Almost like filtering light through a magnifying glass. I would recommend caution if buying for smaller reptiles or ones with softer scales/skin. They might end up being burned by it.
