Vibrant but does not last long
I have used this for years to top up my red hair colour. Always leaves my hair soft but does wash out quickly , so I use it on top of a permanent red hair dye.

Excellent product
This is a divine product and a glorious colour. I stopped tinting my hair and grew out my grey. The front of my hair is pure white but the back is more salt and pepper. This is such a lovely colour and I get a lot of compliments on it. As my roots are no longer so noticeable as when I was colouring my hair dark brown, I can get away with doing my roots every 8 weeks or so. I haven't found it cheaper on any other website

Disappointed it fades so fast
I love the shade of this product but it isn’t permanent as stated in fact it fades very quickly , I don’t bleach before hand because I have more or less white hair maybe that’s a reason why but I’ve had other colours that hadn’t faded as fast as this one

Extremely good medium grey to neutralize warm tones
I recommend this product to the dark haired girls who want a natural blonde after bleaching. I had dyed dark violet hair. I bleached 2x using garnier 8 tone lightener at 24 hours intervals. The result was a vibrant chicken yellow with copper spotting. I used this dye to neutralize. The grey is very strong at first, but after 3 washes it looks like a natural cool blonde. I recommend it to anyone who has dark blonde hair and up (levels 7+).

Read this before you buy, I know a lot about hair.
I've been blonde more times than I can count, currently I've got blonde panels in my hair. I want to stress that Max Blonde is a level 8 lightener, it is quite nasty and strong and it is NOT a natural shade of blonde even when done over natural colour it has a heavily yellowish tint to it after dying it is classed as 'ice blonde' but called max as it is such a big lightener. Things you NEED to know: You cannot just 'dye' your hair blonde especially with a dye like this because it WILL go yellow, if your hair is about a very light ash brown it WILL go bright orange and gold on first bleaching regardless of condition, hair colour as a child etc. It HAS to go through the colour spectrum to reach blonde. This will turn dyed hair or even naturally brown hair bright orange like a traffic cone with golden bits, this is normal and every blonde pack will do it, even a hairdresser can rarely do a full head of blonde. This must be done at your own risk, if your hair is very thin, brittle, damaged or sheds when dyed this may not be the dye for you as it is quite strong. There is plenty in the box to cover your hair thoroughly from shot to medium length, HOWEVER you are very likely going to need to dye your hair more than once to achieve the colour and you should not use this twice on your hair unless you want to be at an extreme risk of going bald or breaking. The chances of your hair turning the colour on the box are probably about 5% out of 100. If you are naturally VERY light brown with no red tints or you are blonde WITHOUT DYE so your hair is virginal, you are likely to get a good result however you will still need to tone your hair afterwards (purchase toner on here too) and keep it up with purple shampoo. When the bleach is on you should wrap a plastic bag around your hair (be careful) and tie it at the front like a turban and use a hairdryer over the back on a warm setting this makes the bleach process faster and gives a MUCH better result!!!!!!!!!!! If you are going from a colour to this you should use this and then next time use a weaker bleach like a level 7 or lower (lower is better) to help with the yellow, yellow is normal. If you are naturally a brunette with golden flecks in ashy hair then your hair will NEVER lighten naturally. This is good if you plan to go from brown to purple, red, orange, blue etc but you must remember to get your hair as evenly coloured as possible or the brighter dyes won't come out properly! they won't work over gingery hair and if your hair is patchy the next colour will turn patchy. You may put a natural darker blonde over the top of it but be warned the yellow underneath will not go away. YOU CANNOT REMOVE BLEACHED HAIR unless you grow it out, dying it does not get rid of the peroxide damage and colour removers like colourb4 will never be able to turn your hair back to brown or whatever colour you stripped it from before as bleach takes the pigment from the hair. It's a decent dye but I prefer absolute platinum. If your hair is naturally dark, damaged or dyed you are better going to a hairdresser for a full head of highlights each times it needs doing, it costs more but it's so much more worth it in the end.
