MarconiMild Giardiniera, 16 Ounce (Pack of 2)

Exactly like I remember from my days living in Chicago, the city of a million different tastes. This is one of the best especially with hotdogs or Italian beef sandwiches. Fantastic condiment topping for nearly any meat or fish. I love it!

I’m from Chicago. This is the best brand of giardiniera there is. My spouse and I have tried many different brands. But this one takes the cake. Highly recommended!

Mild is delicious (although I personally prefer the Hot, but this was a gift for someone whose tastes are more on the mild side.) Very tasty. Adds zest and flavor to so many things - pasta, meat and fish, even mashed potatoes - yes, mashed potatoes.

Final advice: excellent if you replace oil with vinegar. Otherwise, VERY greasy with horrible aftertaste that just hangs on. Ugh. I ate part of the first jar before the aftertaste kicked in. Ugh again. I won’t eat more. A lot to pay for such a bad experience. I’m wondering how to get rid of the oily yeck in my mouth. Seriously bad.Later Addition: I drained, then rinsed the contents in hot water and replaced the oil w vinegar. Now I can eat it and it’s really good. I like it. But that’s a lot of extra work after paying a lot to start with. They should offer a vinegar option. In vinegar I give it five stars but only one star in oil.

I looked all over town for this and finally ordered it. I swear it makes my italian beef recipe the bomb! so much flavor

One bottle leaked some oil out. But still quality fresh will put the partially leaked one in the fridge to cool the Temperatureto keep it fresh

Pushed it up to 3 stars because it actually tastes good! Otherwise...a greasy mess in the shipping box, due to the fact that the plastic, screw-on, lids got unscrewed and the oily giardiniera liquid suspension leaked inside the box; not worth the aggravating mess... I should better search some more for giardiniera in local grocery stores...
