Lion Brand Yarn Wool-Ease Yarn, Ranch Red

Good quality, great color, nice to work with

Lion Brand Wool-Ease is dependably high quality yarn. It's my go-to yarn for most of my knitting projects. I bought this for knitting elbow-length mittens for my granddaughter, and they turned out to be both soft and sturdy. It's a pleasure to knit with, as it handles easily and is never rough or stiff, as some all-acrylic yarns can be. The percentage of wool in the yarn makes the difference. It's great for children's garments and for people who don't want to take the time to pamper all-wool things. It's durable-- I'm still using a sweater I knitted of Wool-Ease 20 years ago.In addition, its reasonable price makes it a very good buy.

This yarn was perfect for crafts and little odds and ends around the house. It was fun and easy to teach my kids to finger knit with it. The red was very red and perfect for what we needed it for. It's soft and didnt shed much.

Wasn't as soft as Im used to but otherwise it was good quality! Wool-ease is a great brand I use them often.

This is no merino wool

It's a bright beautiful red! I liked it! But be aware that the yarn is thin. Also, recommended needle size is 5.00mm.

I'm not using this for knitting, so I cannot confirm how it will be for that purpose. However the quality is good and I would highly recommend it for whatever use you need.

The yarn was fine but the packaging was very wrong. One skein of yarn came stuffed in a small plastic bag. The glue from the package flap somehow was stuck to the yarn which I was able to pry off without too much incident.
