Incredible and inspiring book best book I have bought in years this chef is a pioneer in this field, worked with best and I like the way he passes this on in the book so much information on all aspects of cooking in fire from the woods to use the flavours of the woods the equipment you need . It’s generosity in knowledge. All I can say is thank you Lennox hastie

Really easy to follow and great guidance plus recipes

Damage!!!!
Unfortunately for the 1st time I experienced a very poor service not only the 1st time but 2nd in our delivery of our book. Both times the book was damaged!!! As it was a present for someone in Australia panic struck. After my wife persuaded me to reluctantly try for a 3rd time, we were lucky!!!! 👍

Amazing recipes but impractical
Bought this book after being inspired watching Lennox on the Netflix series chefs table. Very high quality book, great pics but totally impractical! His use of ingredients is amazing but I don’t have lotus leaves in my kitchen pantry sadly- or many of the other ingredients he uses.

The book is not only a collection of recipe (there are certainly plenty), but also approach & perspective. The knowledge and experiences of mastering cooking with fire is presented here from ingredient to the wood itself.

Brilliant must have book for BBQ enthusiasts
I am delighted with my copy that arrived today ..it is brilliant and I highly recommend. Lennox talks about his learning experince at high end dining establishments that all changed when he went to Spain and fell in love working with smoke, flames and high temperature coals. The book then continues to give exciting new ideas for recipes based on various ingredients with the common theme that he insists on getting the very best.
