YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH IT
one word describes this helmet.....AMAZING.Lets talk about the price $440.00 dollars. It is something you have to think about because not just anyone is willing to sacrifice that amount. But trust me it is worth it. This helmet is lighter than any I have had, Icon and AGV helmets don't compare. AGV cost me $300 Icon $200.This helmet feels more free I could turn my head both ways and not feel restricted and actually see. I don't feel I am wearing a helmet because the visor shows me everything I have a wider view than I did with other helmets. It feels free liberating. I love the part that it included a fog free feature, I had to act as my own manual wiper before to give me visibility on those foggy days. This helmet looks beautiful it is quiet, yet durable. Overtime this helmet will pay for itself, there is no doubt about it.

Solid built
RF1200 Shoei helmet is top of the line Shoei's product. I have owned couple of shoei helmets but this is my favorite, light, solid built and perfect fitting not forgetting very comfortable for intermediate oval head. I reasonly bought the pinlock protecTINT its recommended for those living in sunny states. Surprise to say this model have plenty of graphic designs.Minus points are the Wind (blast)noise on this helmet is average or sometimes loud depends how you tilt the helmet down as I rides a sports touring bike.

Awesome helmet!
Excellent helmet with great construction and attention to detail. I ordered a Medium based on other reviews and having a 58 measurement, it fit perfectly out of the box for my oval head shape. Wearing on the bike I found it to be reasonably quiet and flow good air, but not as much as my Arai XD-4. I also like the emergency easy remove pads feature, but hope they never need to be used! Came with lots of excellent accessories standard: snap in breath guard, pin lock shield, and even a chin curtain. All in all, I really like everything about this helmet and I’m very pleased with the performance.

Light, well-fitted, good quality, stylish.
Love the helmet, have owned several Shoei. Size/fit (med) was accurate. Helmet is light, snug, high quality....haven't experienced the wind and/or road noise other reviewers have mention, even at 100+. I run race exhaust, bike is super loud, so perhaps my expectations may be lower than the next rider in said regard.

Get Yourself a Motorcycle To Match This Helmet
Black Matte Shoei RF-1200 Anthracite Full-Faced Motorcycle Helmet. Medium. Each individual hyphenate of that description sounds baller as a standalone, but all together they form a Voltron of alpha male (or female) descriptors that point to you being as much about personal safety as you are about speed; hot, nasty, responsible speed. While some may decry the use of helmets and gear as being ineffectual when you're going 85+ sitting otherwise exposed atop an exploding rocket while Mad Max - Fury of 495 Rush Hour (DMV resident here) plays out around you, I disagree.Much like the girl that dashes out of her illegally parked 2003 Jetta into Sephora in the middle of a rainstorm with only a grocery bag held above her head to shield her hair from the rain, it's important to let casual observers know you still care just enough that they shouldn't worry that you've got nothing left to lose. Also, gotta protect the moneymaker. A fully body cast is only attractive if your face is still 100%.As far as safety goes, Shoei is the top of the line and this specific model (RF-1200) comes highly recommended from dozens of other attractive, safety-minded internet strangers on Amazon and Reddit.Like Thanksgiving dinner it fits snugly yet comfortably, the pin-lock anti-fog visor does exactly as advertised, and the vents and design keep your head cool even as you yell obscenities at Honda Odyssey wielding NoVa soccer moms veering into your lane because they're busy playing Candy Crush on their way to wine and paint at 2PM on a Tuesday.Purchased on Amazon in February 2018 for $500+ and was used sparingly for long distance hauls - I use a half-shell helmet and aviators for my city riding because nothing bad ever happens at 20-30mph.Almost sold it a couple months back because I sold my motorcycle recently and wearing the helmet while frying oil splashy eggs comes close but ultimately doesn't match the thrill of the speed and solitude of the open road.So while the amateur motorcycle helmet connoisseur may buy a helmet to ride their hog, I’m going to be looking for a motorcycle that matches this helmet.

Good quality, but tight cheek pads and a lot of wind noise.
Bought this to replace the HJC Helmet I have been using for about 10 years. Measured myself 3 times to make sure I got the right size per the sizing chart (came in 1/8" below the upper limit for a size Large). The large is quite snug and I did have to order the 31mm cheek pads to get it so that it was not uncomfortably tight. Cheeks are still tight, but headliner fits about the same as my XL HJC. Things I like: much lighter than the prior helmet, vents provide better cooling, replaceable inserts. Things I don't like: WIND NOISE - I was really hoping this would be better than the HJC helmet, but it is not. The HJC is louder at highway speeds, but this Shoei is loud at all speeds over 40 mph. Have resigned myself to having to wear earplugs to ride with this helmet. The other complaint would be having to buy another $50 set of cheek pads to get the helmet so that it was not uncomfortably tight (many reviewers have reported the same, so I think Shoei intentionally puts in a tight size to boost profits by selling these as accessories instead of installing the appropriate size to begin with). If the wind noise was better and it had come with the 31mm cheek pads, I would have rated this helmet at 5 stars.
