Normally I don't believe the "as seen on TV" hype - but THE GRILL DADDY PRO IS THE ULTIMATE BRUSH FOR CLEANING MY GRILL ! I do believe it is cleaner than when it was new! I mean that, all the junk that would not come off even with heating and scrubbing JUST DISAPPEARED FROM MY GRATES EFFORTLESSLY using the grill daddy pro. This brush works GREAT - is it perfect? no is is plastic but that is why the PLATINUM version is available - aluminum housing but cost more and all it does in reality is drip water where you are brushing to produce steam to help you clean but it does it well. The only complaint I have is I feel it should have a higher water capacity but that is a minor complaint considering the great job it does.OVERALL for the price this is the best brush ever made for cleaning grill in my humble opinionI love it and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone - my grill has never been so clean - especially with so little effort.5***** buy one and ENJOY your grilling - even the cleaning lolUPDATE - -AFTER using this for about 50 times I wanted to come back and post an update- IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE OF THESE AND YOU COOK ON A GRILL YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF TO BUY ONE. I am glad I got the pro also, at first I thought it was to big but after using it a LOT I have found that it is just about the right size for an all around grill cleaner, Small grills it can seem to be too big but when it is used on a large grill or smoker it seem small when your had get warm LOL. This brush makes super quick work of even the dirtiest grill, and I really put it to a test slow cooking up some super sauced ribs, after about 10-20 seconds of brushing the grates look new again - THIS GRILL BRUSH IS AWESOME! - simple FACT - and Amazon has it for around HALF the price of buying it in a B&M store.IMHO THIS IS A PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR THE GRILL MASTER IN YOUR LIFE !

I just received the Grill Daddy Pro cleaner. I've only used once, but was pretty impressed. The bristles seem strong and secure. The steam cleaning feature is awesome and very effective. Many have mentioned that it leaks, but the instructions say to turn the valve to the off position. I chose to just empty the water when I was done. If anything changes my first impression with this product, I will update my review.

For something so simple, and so simple to design and build well, these are an expensive exercise in frustration. I have owned three from the most basic to the most expensive. Every one of them leaked from the start. Is it really that difficult to make this leakproof? No. Leaks from the seams, leaks from the head (the "valve" was pretty much a joke) and would leak from the cap if the unit was inverted. This company could own the market if it made a solid, leakproof version at any price and stood behind the product.

So... I've gone through a healthy number of traditional cleaning brushes. The bristles end up getting worn down, totally bent, even melted? The scraping blade does its job, but the wood part of the brush breaks, you know the story.Enter the Grill Daddy brush. The main bristles on this thing are, insanely durable? I have gone through a whole grilling season (spring to fall in my household) and the bristles are no worse for the wear. All are straight, accounted for, and ready to get back to work. The "blade" that is comprised of more bristles is not as effective as your traditional blade for heavy duty scraping, but they are seldom needed since the main bristles do such a great job scraping away that buildup. The narrow blade of bristles are just *ok* for cleaning on the sides. The water discharging is pretty low tech but is the main reason you get this cleaning brush since it really increases the effectiveness of the bristles. Just heat up your grill, twist the knob to open the water valve, and start cleaning your grill.So, while this brush won't restore your grill surface to a factory-new, metal look, it will definitely get the gunk off with the water and the hard stuff off with the strong bristles. For about $20, you really can't go wrong.
