Medium Full Mermaid Bridal Crinoline Wedding Slip Skirt with Compact Mirror (1393) (Large) White

Wore this under my wedding dress. It was a little short for me, but I do have a 33" inseam. I had to wear it low to get the fluff in the right spot. But it lays nicely and was good quality for the price. I ended up removing the hoop, that was more poof than I needed but it was well made so removing the hoop was simple. The upper section has a nice smooth stretch, so it fit well with the other under garments, and the waistband stayed where in needed to be without bunching or rolling. I may use it again for other similar style dresses. I hand washed it, turned out great.

I love the thick, stretchy material of which the slip is made. Plus, that material extends to under the tulle, since the tulle might have been itchy against your skin. The length was fine, but it runs a bit small, so I'm glad I ordered a large instead of a medium. Just for comparison, I'm 5'9", waist 30", hip 42".

I ordered this slip for my mermaid wedding gown and it was PERFECT!! It had just the right amount of poof at the bottom to give me the silhouette that I wanted! And it was $28 cheaper than at the bridal shoppe. Win Win!!!

I was a bit bummed after receiving this item. The previous reviews specified that it did not have a metal hoop, but it actually does. The hoop is also rather big and not what I expected from this petticoat. The material is decent for the money.

Way way too poofy for what I was going for. It is like too poofy for what most women are looking for in their bridal look so unless your mermaid style gown really flares out or that is the look you are going for you will want to pass on this.There were also a few tears in the mesh. I ended up just throwing this away.

Pros:This was perfect for my wedding my bridal shop wanted to charge like $100 bucks for the same thing. Theres a layer of smooth fabric form fitting that goes all the way down to your feet so you don't have to feel the itchyness of the tulle against your legs also its thicker & seamless, so while I of course wore Spanx shape wear under my dress this added smoothness to it.How I made it work: Its VERY stiff upon arrival so I hung in my bathroom for the couple of months leading up to my wedding so the shower steam would let it fall a bit. It worked perfectly & gave just the right effect I wanted for my dress.Longevity:the second time I wore it was for a masquerade ball & the tulle ripped along several seams, from climbing up stairs in the ballroom, and I was wearing flats under my dress. would have been pissed had this happened at my wedding, luckily I didn't have to climb up stairs at my wedding, I did do a second line though (New Orleans wedding basically a parade with the bride & groom leading a couple blocks you tube it) & it held up fine through that.Why 4 stars:for $50 bucks I expected to be able to wear it more than twice.Background info:My wedding dress was originally A-line but I had it altered into a mermaid dress. There was a layer of tulle over the fabric that I left A-line, so underneath my dress there was no built in fluff, nothing to make the mermaid style flair since it wasn't made to be mermaid style, adding this to another dress that is already mermaid may cause too much fluff. Skirt I wore for the ball was made mermaid but was very thin & had no fluff to it either.

The slip skirt was a perfect fit and long enough for me. I love the fact that the slip is long and the tule doesn't scratch my ankles! It also has some control in the tummy and butt area. Can's wait to wear it!

I was afraid to buy this on-line, but was pleasantly surprised. Such a better deal than buying from bridal shop, and it was much fuller! I am a size 14, and this fit comfortably. If you're looking for something to cinch you in a bit, order a size smaller maybe. I personally didn't want something so tight that I couldn't walk. This was perfect, and nice and full at the bottom, which was the main thing I wanted.
