My entire home is wood floors, save the bathrooms, so you can imagine I have a large need for any type of material that will stop scratches while still allowing the movement of furniture. These things are wonderful. I have tried several others, many much more expensive and all with "sticky" material that is supposed to help keep the socks in place. However, over time, and not much at that, the others have started sagging and then falling off. I decided to try these as I figured if I was going to be replacing them regularly I did not want to spend a lot of money on them. With these socks I have been extremely surprised and do not anticipate having to replace them as often as those that were far more expensive. They have worked on chair legs, sofa legs, barstool legs and bed frames. They adapt to several sizes, which is extremely helpful. They are a bit difficult to put on, which is what makes them stay up so well, but once on they stay in place and slide very easily without scratching the floor. I cannot recommend these enough.

So far, these are the answer to my prayers. New hardwood floors so tried plastic & felt “buttons,” which constantly fell off. Then tried silicone “cups” which got a distorted shape & were coming off after just a few months. These are fabric with have interior grips that, so far, are working perfectly. Just need to roll them down to put in, like socks, so grips are positioned where you want them when you roll the “socks” up the chair leg. Haven’t had these long enough to judge durability. But for protecting floor and making chair-sliding easy, they’re wonderful. Plan to use for every table leg, also. A side note: they’re pretty invisible on chair legs of similar color (med/dark brown.) Not the right color for lighter wood.

These are hands down the best ones to purchase. We use these on not only chairs but other tables on our hardwood flooring........ no more scratches and no more horrible noise from chairs sliding on the floor! They go on nice and tight, stay in place and wash very well.

When I learned how much you have to protect this vinyl plank floor, I researched furniture leg caster, pads, etc. I ordered several different ones. Easiest option for chair legs looked like these socks. I have just put them on, which I did not find to be difficult. Perhaps my chair legs are thinner, I don't know. I like them so far -- have no idea how long they last, but they do seem well-made.

This is a clever idea but I am happy I tried it! They are little socks than you pull over the chair legs. Not sure how durable they will be in the long run but they did provide 4 extra socks in case some wear through. When you install them imagine you are putting socks on a little kid. Stretch them and sort of roll them up and then slip them on the chair legs.

I have used stick-on pads for chair feet for years, but have not been satisfied with them. These are very good. They slide on easily, stay in place, make chairs easy to slide, and prevent scratching or marking the floor. I also use them on the feet of small tables.

The purchase of these chair socks was my third attempt at providing chair leg covers that would not fall off when the chairs are moved on my hard wood floors. These socks fit snugly, and so far, moving the chairs have not called the socks to fall off. The chairs glide easily. In that the covers were applied this month, I am unable to address the durability at this time.

Love these! They stay put even after almost a year! I finally changed to new ones, and will wash these and see how they hold up. After almost a year, they did loosen up, and in doing so, they look like they shrank in length. I still love these to protect the vinyl flooring. They did not come off.
