Very good case for clip-ons, NOT made for full-size eyeglasses or sunglasses
This is a very slim hard-shell case intended for use in storing clip-on sunglasses, NOT full-size eyeglasses or sunglasses. Any reviews complaining that the case is too shallow to hold their regular glasses did not take the time to read and understand the product description. Even the product photos and specifications (including measurements) make it very clear that this case is not deep.I bought one of these cases through Amazon and was sufficiently pleased with it that I bought a second one because I keep a spare sunglasses clip-on in my car. I have not owned them long enough to know yet how well they will hold up to being opened and closed repeatedly as time goes on, but they seem sturdy enough.

SImple. Slim. Super-duper. Nah its pretty good seriously.
Super-slim, tough, light, fits in your pants, HARD. Exactly what I was looking for. Same price as a crappy fake leather one I got that was totally worthless. This fits snug in the pocket I normally keep my extra mag in, but don't need that at work so it slides right in, nice and snug out of sight. I really couldn't ask for a simpler soluttion. Feels quality. If you got readers, this is the one. Or wire-rimmed like mine. No curvy glasses, they had better fold FLAT within reason, or be made to take it, this thing is slim and compresses my polymer-framed readers a touch, I reckon I should fold up the actually pretty LARGE cleaning cloth, just right. I honestly don't need it, but its something nice to see not skimped on. Buy. No regret.

Only for slim frames & small lenses
This case is nice, but only fits slim or small glasses. Wayfarers are too big; most plastic framed glasses are too big. Round lenses of 50mm diameter are too big. If you need a case for readers or rimless frames with thin oval or rectangular lenses, this might be a nice match, but I was really quite surprised that none of my round-lens, wire-frame glasses fit. The texture and color are both nice, the case stays closed, and my wife's frames did fit so it became hers -- but that almost feels like luck...!

Perfect
This eyeglass case is exactly as advertised. As someone who wears prescription glasses and sunglasses, I often find the need to take the glasses off and didn’t want a bulky case to carry around in my pocket. This case is about as slim as it can be and protects my glasses well. I would definitely recommend

Small but compact
Really measure a case that works for your glasses and compare to this one. I wanted a thin case. This works for one of my pairs of reading glasses, but not the other. It is length that is the problem for one pair, but height could be a problem for curved glasses.

Too thin to fully close close over small “cheater” reading glasses
Bought this for my spouse’s cheaters. It is a pretty thin case - it won’t close all the way because the glasses (which are actually pretty small) are too big for the case.not sure exactly what kind of glasses actually would fit in it.

Model S5: Fantastic case… better than four others tested… amazingly slim and thin!
I ordered this case (Model S5) and four others. I was looking for the smallest, most compact case I could find for both my distance and reading glasses to replace a broken “zero-g” glasses case I have (which is very slim)This case was WAY thinner, slimmer, and shorter than all the others (including the zero-g I was replacing), super sturdy build, excellent appearance… I absolutely love it![I purchased the “rough texture” one and like it a lot, but I’m sure the others are basically the same, except for the coating]

Will break in less than one year — if you’re lucky
These cases are really nice because they are thin and fit in my pocket. However, they don’t last. I gave them several chances, but they just keep on breaking. I bought my first one in July 2022, but almost immediately the lining fell out. Amazon sent me another one in August and that one lasted till May 2023, at which point the spring in the hinge broke. So I bought another one. That one lasted till February 2024 when the hinge broke again. So on February 4, 2024 I bought another one, and on March 29, 2024 the hinge broke again — too late to even return it since Amazon only has a 30 day return window. This for me was the last straw and I will never buy another one again. But that’s not the end of it. Since I liked these cases, I bought one in a different color for a different pair of glasses in July 2023 and it looked like someone had been throwing it around. Amazon replaced it, but the one they sent did not line up when it was closed. Amazon replaced that one too, and this replacement was much better, but still did not line up correctly when closed. I just kept that one and as of March 2024, the hinge is still fine — but I’m expecting it to break any day now. Don’t buy these cases.
