With Covid, like all of us, I am doing my nails for the first time. (I have used regular polish of course, but not gels or acrylics.) For years, every three weeks I go and get dip nails, but with quarantine , they grew extremely long. It was becoming impossible to type, and I was stabbing my eyes taking out my contact lenses. I had planned to wait until we could leave the house to do them, but the time is continually extending, so I decided on a professional product to try myself. I didn’t choose dip nails because my best friend, who is talented with these things, found it difficult. I’m not talented, so I decided to try gels, as with the exception of curing, it seemed most like putting on polish. I ordered this kit as I like the subdued colors, and thought they’d be best for newbies. The price was also good. I also bought the base and top coat, pure acetone, a cheap curing LED lamp, and I was ready. All of it cost about the same as a visit to the salon. So this morning I began. First, I had to take off what was left of the dip, a messy process. I had watched numerous video to see how to do gels. I discovered the colors are not labeled On this brand, so I took a marker to put it on. (Do not put a drop of color on the label as it needs to cure). I picked a light grey and once my nails had no dip left, followed the instructions. The colored polish was very thick, which made the thin layers everybody said to do difficult. I don’t know if the polish was older or that’s the way it is. The base and top was thin. The brush was also short and thick, like In samples, so not great for smaller nails. However, the color was lovely, as they all were. It took me two hours, but I have extremely shaky hands and it took a while to get the dip remnants off. I also decided to just do a couple of nails at a time. Despite my inexperience, it was pretty easy to use. For a first time, it came out well, I think. For those used to dip, gels are not as thick and my nails probably being damaged, are pretty bendy. I only used two coats of color, which was all I needed. The gel doesn’t seem to offer much protection compared to what I’m used to, so I ordered a Perfect Formula gel to go over the top as that stuff is hard. i also may they three coats next time. Eventually, they’ll grow stronger. While I don’t yet know how long it lasts, I’m sure if it comes off it’s operator error. Right now they are shiny, even, (Except my filing) and look professional. So I do recommend this product. The colors are pretty, the price Is right and if it lasts long and my nails don’t break, and I get better as quarantine continues, I may even give up my nail tech and start doing it myself. Definitely recommend.

I've been trying to be more budget conscious and decided $60 for a gel manicure twice a month just wasn't worth it, so I got this kit. The reason I used to go for manicures is I thought i was too uncoordinated to do my nails. I do alot of typing and I can't keep them long. I found this kit to be really user friendly. It comes with everything you need to get started. It comes with 7 polish colors but the bottles are pretty small (6ml). That's fine, if the bottles were larger, it'd just be more clutter and I'd have colors I wouldn't want to use but feel obligated not to waste. It also comes with a nail primer, a base coat, and a top coat. Also comes with that coarse nail file thing to smooth your nail (sorry, i don't know what they're called), nail trimmers, and a little paintbrush to put oil on your cuticles. Only thing it DOESN'T come with that I had to purchase separately was the electric nail file thing to remove your gel manicure when you're done, but I was able to find a great one for $12 here on Amazon. It comes with some jewels and stickers if you want to bedazzle your nails, but I barely know how to file my nails, I had no interest in attempting to use them but it's cool they were included. Even with how bad I am at doing nails, after reading the instructions, I found it pretty easy and really painless to do while I'm watching TV. It takes probably 20 minutes now to give myself a manicure. If I can do it, so can a child. I thought the polishes would be cheap, but they're pretty decent quality, consistently pigmented, easy to apply, and generally "no chip". I am taking off one star because after using this for 2 months I find that sometimes my manicure "peels" off after a few days, or doesn't consistently harden after that initial base coat. Even after curing the base coat for 2+ minutes it still feels sticky? I read that this may be because the intensity of the UV light is wearing down and isn't strong enough to harden it. After 2 months of almost weekly use I still have the initial top coat, base coat, and nail primer provided, so after I'm finished with those I'll probably try a new bottle of base coat and see if that makes a difference. If not, I will look into replacing the UV lamp, which I can afford since I've saved so much money by doing my own nails.

Lasts a week or longer. I'm on the field I have to wash my hands like 15 times a day... Easy to apply. It's not too thick just perfect gel. Great coverage. Colors are perfect and as described. The cat eye magnetic is great and easy to use. Again, length of time depends on your everyday job duties and how much you have to wash your hands lol.

So, I gave this machine for doing semi-permanent nails at home a shot, and I've got to say, I'm pretty pleased with it. It's easy to use, and the result is like you just stepped out of a salon, all without leaving your house. The cool thing is, it comes with everything you need in the box, and in less than half an hour, your nails look like they're ready for a close-up. The colors it comes with are nice, and the instructions are clear, so no need to stress about messing it up. But let's keep it real: the lasting power isn't the same for everyone. If you're getting into cooking or doing a lot of cleaning, those perfect nails might only stick around for like 5 days, but I think it's worth it. Now, if your day-to-day isn't too rough on your hands, they could last up to a good 15 days looking pretty sharp. Despite that whole deal with the duration, I give it a 100% thumbs up. In no time, it gets your nails ready with some cool colors. If you want to add that salon touch without leaving your home, this machine is the way to go

I used Rossi in the past and Modelones is far better in my opinion. The color is spot on. Yes the bottles are smaller but I have so many and the chemical makeup of the polish doesn’t last forever so smaller bottles are better for me. Rossi gel would chip and peel within two days. So far I’ve had this polish on for three days with no sign of break down! Super happy and will be buying more!

If I could give this kit 10/5 stars I would. I have had it for 2 years and I have never gotten this many compliments about my nails everrrrrr!!! It takes me a total of 30 min to remove my current set and do my nails again. I seriously don't understand how is it possible for it to be so cheap. For the price of 1/3 of a single nail session at a salon you get quite literally everything you need to basically start your own salon at home, HA! The quality of the lamp is great and does not make your nails burn like professional ones, yet my nails last me easily 3 weeks - and i do a looot of dishes... I have recommended this kit to practically every single person that I know because seriously it's this mind blowingly good!!!! Trust me, your wallet will thank you in the long run.

I just started doing my own gel nails and I did a lot of research on kits that include everything you need then I spent so much time trying to decide which brand and kit to go with. Finally, I choose this kit cuz the kit looks reliable than other brands, and the brand name sounds fashionable...Lol.I just want to say it is sooo beautiful!! This completely liberated my hands, and it's suitable for a lazy person like me! Loooove the lamp and that there is a count down and three settings. I believe that if my girl opens the gift at the party on her birthday, many people will be jealous of her! I was not disappointed at all with this Modelones Gel Nail Kit. Bottles are a good size and I don’t like other big size gel cuz my fingers rarely catch the big bottle completely. The most I like is about the bottles can show the colors on its surface! Not like another kit, all of the bottles in the kits are the same colors. This is a tedious and boring thing, it doesn't look special or advanced at all. The display color of the bottle is more like a kind of advanced customization. Nude and deep red are really common colors all year round I am so happy that I chose this kit cuz nude colors are my favorite too! I have a few initial observations: The polish is nice and creamy. It did not have a bad smell when I opened the bottles. The gel is soft, magnificent to work, dry quickly only 60 seconds and ready, all very well everything is right, it brings many things that can be used to paint gel nails, the top coat is impressive leaves a bright shine and everything seems to indicate that according to the quality. The rhinestones and other decorative items are also really great to have. I do n’t need to buy any more accessories, because I ’ve searched to buy nail gel accessories separately and it ’s close to $ 10, and this set contains these things so I saved another sum of money after buying this kit. Literally don’t have one bad thing to say about this kit. It’s cheap, gives you a ton of products to try out, and it all works perfectly!!! You won’t need to make any other purchases to do a full gel manicure (unless you want nail tips to do extensions with.I'm pretty sure that I will give this Modelones nail kit when I give a gift...I love my results and I’m gonna be saving money by doing it myself! I made sure to do exactly what the instructions say and they have been beautiful and strong. I even did my mom's nails and she’s not into doing nails. She loves hers and was so impressed by this product. She plans to buy a new kit in the order she can do that in her home. So am I! I loved this one so much that I order another gel nail kit from Modelones and can’t wait to try it too! When I used this brand I gave up other brands such as Gellen and Beetles！I became a big fan of this brand. Recommend!
