PlayStation Move Premium Tennis Racquet

The racquet is very well constructed, and has a nice feeling in your hand. Playing tennis on the ps3 with a racquet is much better than using only the move control. All that being said, this racquet has a serious problem. The orientation is wrong, by 90 degrees!! I have all four tennis games for the ps3 (grand slam 2, top spin 4, Virtua Tennis 4 and sports champions 2), and SC2 is by far the best implementation for the move control. There is a 1 to 1 replication of your moves, and you can see the position of the racquet clearly on the screen. This racquet is 90 degrees off, and it does not work as expected when hitting the ball. The best way to test this is in the practice court (during the early matches in championship). I manage to drill some hole in it, and insert the move control in the correct position, but this is annoying. On the other hand, the tennis racquet in the PlayStation Move 14 in 1 Pack, which I also have, has the correct orientation, although the quality is much lower.

I have been playing Grand Slam Tennis 2 since the day it came out and when I saw this racquet/move holder, I ordered it right away. The control you have over the ball in this game in amazing. Top spins, slices, drops, lobs, you can hit inside out back hands and smashes that go 25 rows deep. You also control the spin, speed and direction of your Serves with the move controller. I thought adding this racquet/move holder would make the game more fun. It doesn't. Unless of course you've never played before, then I could see this item enjoyable. According to the item Specs, it only weighs 1.6 pounds, but after playing for months with the ultra light weight Move controller, once i added the Premium Racquet, it became so cumbersome, it was not manageable. Swings take longer, and you need a lot more space if you're playing doubles, unless you want to take your partners head off. Again, I think this is a great idea, but if you have played this game, then you know how fast the net volley exchanges are and how little time you have to react and return serve. I'll be giving this away as a gift, most likely to somebody I don't like so much. Thanks

I did hit the overhead fan a few times which cracked the racket. It flew apart on a backhand shot and took out one of my wife's plants across the room. Worked great before that.

I got this racquet for a more realistic game experience. Within 1 week, it snapped and broke just from the force of serving!! Waste of my hard earned money!

Very user friendly because I was able to control and not just swing in random directions. Serving was a lot easier and more accurate.

It has good weight and feel, high quality. Feels like real tennis Delivered quickly. Will order another and would highly recommend this product

J'ai acheté 4 raquettes pour s'amuser entre amis et faire un petit tournoi. Avec un usage à peine intensif sur 2 jours les 4 raquettes se sont toutes cassées au niveau du manche par la simple force des mouvements de raquette...J'avais pourtant choisi ce modèle bien plus cher que d'autres pour être tranquille...On a donc fini sans, 100e de perdus...
