Very handsome pantry/cabinet
Super quality cabinet. Looks beautiful. Suggestions: do not add the cams until the screws are in the holes and pcs are tightly in place. Some cams would not easily lock into place, but extras are provided. Removing bad cams, which is tricky and requires patience, and replacing with another worked out however. The bottom section is more difficult to assemble than the top pc. Once the bottom section was put together, we put in the wood screws, rather than waiting until towards the end of the assembly, as instructions suggest. Then, we set the bottom section in place and assembled the top piece and placed it on top of the bottom, rather than completely assembling it and then moving it into place. It is heavy once complete! Facia boards, the top, the base, and boards requiring strength and beauty are solid wood, the back and side boards are made of an extremely strong composite. The center piece for the back is solid wood and completely keeps it in place and very, very sturdy. Hardware is exceptional and should stand up to required usage. Don't make yourself crazy with the leveling. As long as the pieces are securely assembled, it will be level if your floor is level. Instructions are more than adequate for those who are experienced in assembling furniture like this. We were lucky to find it in stock. Would highly recommend. Well worth the price.

Good find. Happy with it.
We upgraded to a larger pantry twice the size of our previous. We have no pantry space for dry goods so it was much needed.. I was happy with the delivery right to porch. It is a heavy one. Everything came unscathed and packaged well. Assembly was super easy- my 15 year old practically did it by himself. He said it was easy like legos. You do need two people to assemble at one point when you lift the top piece to the bottom piece. We had only one cam lock missing in our parts but it still is sturdy until we can order a replacement. I agree that the color is a skoach lighter than depicted in the photo. The wood is a lovely maple color that looks attractive in my kitchen. I inherited all wood trim throughout my house so it matches with that. The wood seems of better quality than typical of these types of cabinets It has a good weight to it. And the back is not particle board like the last one. It seems sturdy and holds a lot. We put a case of water and bottled drinks in the bottom. Cans next and cereals pasta and rice and snacks in the top. 6 adjustable sections in total makes for a nice storage unit.bits nice and tall so it fits a lot. It is so hard to buy these things sight unseen online but this one was a winner! I love it and highly recommend -the price of $441 with shipping was the best price I could find. It was more expensive on other sites. It seemed like the best value without compromising quality. One nice touch is the feet have plastic disks that make it easy to slide the pantry across the floor to move it and also let you level it. You also can bolt it to the wall for those little climbers. It includes the wall tether. A nice safety feature for those with little ones.

Sturdy wood cabinet
I was searching for a wood cabinet to store my Mom's Christmas dishes. I needed something that could handle the weight and was deep enough for dishes. This cabinet worked out great. It is more expensive than other cabinets but I feel worth the extra money for wood vs. pressed board. The photos are in reverse order of assembly. The instructions are minimal but adequate. Study them up, read ahead a step and go back and reread the step you are on. I read the reviews and knew that I had to build it on a carpet/soft surface. I placed my cabinet in the basement so I built it on the rug near where it was to be placed. I'm a 49 year old female and was able to build the cabinet myself with just a phillips head screwdriver and a level. Since my husband was around when I needed to place the upper section on the lower, he helped me guide it, but in a pinch, I could have done it myself. Note that the magnets are at the top. Had to go back a step when I realized the top one was on upside down. Don't panic if the lock washers don't tighten down as you are assembling a section. Once the lower half is assembled you can go back and tighten them down. If you try to force it too soon, it isn't stable enough and you risk splintering the wood. I feel like the doors line up pretty well. I suppose the lower right door could line up better but it's in my basement so I don't have anyone sitting staring at it. It's a pretty cabinet and it's sturdy. I like that is is wood and that the pins for the shelves are metal. The shelves have notches so they seat on the pins and aren't just resting on them.

Solid, looks nice, but ...
2.5 stars. Overall "It's OK" looks great once assembled, feels solid and does not have a cardboard back like many other pieces of "ready to assemble" furniture. Arrived on schedule. It was very heavy and the UPS driver was not happy with the weight. The wood is a bit lighter in color than the picture shown. Peeves: Styrofoam packing material was broken and clung to ever piece of wood. We unpacked in the garage, cleaned each piece and cleaned up the loose Styrofoam with the shop vac. I can't imagine unpacking this inside the house. We spent an hour removing and cleaning up the packing material. The pantry came with 4 bottom doors, the steel plate and magnets aligned perfectly on the bottom, but were off by an inch on the top. With this in mind, without removing and relocating the plates, the doors would not stay closed on their own. I look at it from the perspective of my mom and/or wife doing the assembly. If I didn't have the tools, the doors wouldn't stay closed. Also, the assembly instructions were OK, but could have been better.

High-quality solid wood caninets
We bought two of these to put on either side of our fireplace and liked them so much that we bought a third for our home office. These cabinets are real, solid wood that's been stained with the exception of the rear panel which is plywood (note: all three of our cabinets had a "freshly stained" odor that took a few weeks to dissipate). When finished these cabinets look like they cost twice the price, although if you're looking at them closely with a critical eye you can spot the difference between these and "furniture store" brands in some gaps, slightly mis-aligned mill work, etc. These imperfections are minor and don't detract from the overall quality and appearance unless you're really examining them closely. The one minor disappointment with these is the door hardware: although it looks great the pieces are very lightweight and make a ton of noise when you open and close the doors as the metal handles flap against the metal face plate; it's actually really loud. Would be great if the hardware had just a minor upgrade so it was a bit more substantial. We've had our cabinets for a few years now and use them daily for everything from household and kitchen storage to electronics (one of the cabinets houses a PS4 which fits with about .5" extra front-to-back clearance). Shelves can easily hold cases of soda and other heavier stuff. These are by far the highest quality "u-build-it" pieces I've ever had.

Awesome Quality!
I have purchased furniture that required assembly many times - most of which was decent quality. But never have I gotten one of this exceptional quality - and from a asian manufacturer! Beautifully constructed and not, repeat NOT vanered! All wood is stained evenly- very nice! The cabinet was shipped in the most careful way to avoid damage. I was really impressed just with the shipping. The back panels were strong thick plywood (yes, wood!) - stained fully to match on both sides. No issues with strength at the back of the cabinet. Most packaged un assembled furniture is veneered particle board with a flimsy cardboard backing. I do not see why anyone would complain about the backing on this cabinet. The only error is in the doors and instructions. One door was slightly off center (did not match up with other door) but was easily fixed with adjusting the hinges up on the door, by drilling new holes just three sixteenths of inch (3/16") higher - and it matched perfectly. An easy fix. the instructions clearly showed how the pieces fitted together but the order of the assembly was just wrong. I suggest you use common sense in assembly and just use the diagrams provided as a puzzle guide. And I would also suggest using wood glue to strengthen the joined pieces - I used Gorilla Wood Glue. It was a good decision to add the glue, I believe. I assembled it all by myself. There was more than enough hardware. The manufacturer clearly takes pride in a job done right. I wish I could purchase more online furniture items of this impressive quality. I am not exaggerating... these cabinets are truly great !!

a couple little glitches but it looks great when it's done
Really about 4-1/2 stars. It arrived with one door cut a bit askew, but the company's customer service department dispatched a replacement to me quickly. The instructions were unusually well thought out -- and they insist that you follow the instructions step by step -- except for one thing. The two back pieces have several nail holes along one short edge of each without explanation for them, and if you hang them the wrong way (there were no instructions about which way to turn the pieces) the holes will show as the back pieces slide down into place in the framework. At that point, so many other pieces will have been screwed and glued into place that it would be grueling to remove them. I ended up cramming tinted furniture wax into the holes to block any telltale light coming through and making it obvious that the back was not solid wood. Not a satisfactory solution but effective enough. My advice: for the two back pieces, be sure the holes you'll need to put nails through are on the outside of the piece (I drilled mine lightly as well to make it easier to get nails through them), and be sure the few inexplicable holes that serve no purpose in this cabinet are on the bottom so they'll slide down and out of sight. (It'll all make sense when you go to put it together.) Now that it's assembled and in use it looks great and feels solid. I put it together myself fairly easily, although the top piece was a challenge to lift into place without help.

THRILLED WITH THE PURCHASE, THE COLOR & STYLE LOOK JUST LIKE THE PICTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great for storing things you need; but, don't want to see: the cabinet (pantry) is sturdy & VERY Attractive. It's actually constructed with wooden doors, it does have pressboard sides though, I LOVE the color & the style!!!!!! Most importantly, the Pantry doesn't look like a Pantry but a lovely Cabinet, meaning it looks exactly like the picture. The picture lead me to believe that It would match my furniture; AND, IT DOES (some pictures of different pantry's were so horrid you couldn't tell WHAT the color was or IF the color was true: plus, way to many of those pictures didn't show interiors...that is a must when you buy any cabinet!!!). My son put one together & we used Amazon's contacts to local help to put the other together. I bought 3 hours of help, & it took 2 people 2 1/2 hours to put it together, so you can image how long it took my poor lonely son & his non-eclectic screwdriver (he did say that the instructions were easy to follow & to make sure your electric screwdriver was charged)!!! I appreciated the ability to buy construction help & I will use that benefit again!!!!!!!! GOOD LOOKS & GOOD DEAL, I'M PLEASED!!!!!!!!
