Great little pair of scissors for cutting elastic from top knot

Does exactly what I need. That little hook is so helpful!

These scissors are simple to use just one snip on one line of the band and the top knot is out. I found taking hair bands out without the scissors resulted in a little of my yorkshire terrier's fur coming out even tho i was really gentle. I change my puppy's top knot every morning and keep it a little loose so not to pull on her sculpt. I can not leave it out overnight because her fine hair would cover her whole face completely and this would cause her discomfort with fur in her eyes and not being able to see properly, i also don't want the risk of eye infections.

Our little girls, doesn't have a hair band in everyday, but for when she does, this is useful for getting the bands out quickly, from a wiggly girl. We'd never leave in a band for more than a day (wouldn't want her to have a sore head, if you've ever tied your hair on top, you'd know it can hurt after awhile), so come the evening, we use these to release her wild side. Using the scissors is better than trying to pull the bands out, quicker too.

These are great for taking the bands out of my Maltese and Shih Tzu's topknot much better than using scissors
