Surpassed expectations on all fronts
This product surpassed my expectations, here is what I appreciated. The price was reasonable, but there's more:Beginning with the packaging, it came in a sturdy, yet easy to open package. Once inside, the mounting hardware was well organized and boxed, then packaged in individual sealed plastic pouches. The main unit was preassembled, it too was nicely covered in plastic and had a durable and reusable restraining zip tie on it to keep the spring load from expanding during shipping. All the pieces were there including the special allen wrenches that are needed to make final adjustments. You couldn't uses all the pieces of hardware, I really think that Huanuo, the manufacturer, have probably covered every possible TV or Monitor mounting scenario possible with all the mounting hardware they include and all of it is high quality. The instructions were superb and printed in a high quality paper booklet. There were plenty of graphics that were logical and they too were crisply printed. They were a big help in identifying parts, tools that you'll need to mount it to the wall(s) that are either drywall backed by studs or concrete. An added plus, the language they were written in is American English. Generally, I've found this hard to find in home project kits that are imported from overseas. For my application, I had to give some thought to where to mount the unitnbased on the range of motion that the device would provide, and I'm glad I did that before just drilling mounting holes in my wall and then later finding out they were wrong. (measure twice, drill once)The product quality is 1st class and high quality. The few pieces that do need some assembly fit together well and are not sloppy or have sharp edges. The main pieces are formed or cast metal. The finish on them looks like it is powder coated and it is flawless. The wireways are plastic and they too work well at supporting and hiding the wires. They fit into position without being sloppy or difficult. There is only one product related sticker on the product to aid in adjusting the spring tension, but it too makes sense to be there for assembly, and you could remove it.But how does it work? I have a 22" TV mounted to it that weighs only about 5 pounds. For my purposes, it's terrific! It provides full range of motion as advertised and holds the TV firmly in place, yet is easy to move. I can't speak for longevity of the wall mount device, I've had it only a week, but my expectations are that it will serve me well for years. Are there any cons? Only one that I see. The only suggestion that I can offer, is that the lag screws and flat washers that hold the device to the wall could have been black to match the wall plate mount. Not too worry, a black magic marker will take care of the miss-match.Would I purchase this again? Absolutely yes.Good luck with your project, mine worked out well.

Gives you extra desk space and decent cable management
I got this and a 29" ultrawide display for my wife. She loves having the articulating motion and it really has cleaned up her desk space. You don't notice how much space a normal monitor stand takes up until it is gone.It came with simple picture based instructions that were plenty adequate. There are a couple of tools that you should have on your own (drill, drill bits) but nothing unreasonable for a wall mount.Installation was easy and straight forward, and adjusting the tension on the gas mount was doable albeit a little stiff. Though I would rather have it that way, there are no worries that it might become loose over time. The integrated cable management is ok, but that is no fault of the arm. They are concealed right up to the wall mount, I just have to figure out what to do with them after that.

Great mount, get what you pay for
Ordered this mount for my Samsung 32” S70A UHD Monitor and it is honestly just as pictured. Mounting process was very easy, (use a stud finder) bolts are thick and sturdy. The only issue I encountered was the top mount screw into the back of the monitor. Directions are fairly easy, would advise to use ratchet pieces on a drill for the screws going into the wall this way you don’t strip them. The gas spring is durable, just kind of annoying with the opposite ways to tighten it.Overall, impressed with this product for the price and would highly advise it for anyone looking to get a sustainable mount for their monitor

Worked for my needs, may not work for everyone
I pulled this arm out of the box, took one look at the mounting plate and knew I could install this within minutes. I grabbed my tools and about 10 minutes later it was installed and supporting a monitor. It helped I knew exactly where I wanted to mount it, there was no time wastes trying to make it fit. It comes with both wall anchors and lag bolts- I wouldn't trust wall anchors with something like this. I pre-drilled the holes for the lag bolts and mounted it to a 2x4 stud. Its really stable and solid mounted this way.The arm has a decent range of motion, my biggest issue is I couldnt dial in the tension spring to allow me to set the monitor to the vertical position I wanted. It was either all the way up or all the way down. I might try tweaking with the tension spring more and see if I can fix this, it feels close to being able to do that. The monitor mount itself (at the end of the arm) has excellent range of motion with pan and tilt to a large degree. You can even rotate the monitor almost a full 360*, giving you a wide range of viewing options. The VESA plate has extenders in case your monitor is larger, but I didn't need them as I used an old, early generation non-wide screen 19" monitor (didn't need a fancy monitor for a NAS).Overall, this is a good arm and I'm very happy to have it.Pros:SturdyEasy to installHolds monitors very wellLots of adjustmentsCons:Takes some fiddling and dialing to get vertical placement to hold where you want itBottom line:Definitely giving this a recommended rating, it works and it works well.
