L’Oreal Paris Hair Makeup Temporary 1-Day Hair Color for Brunettes, Raspberry 10, 1 Fl Oz

I am a natural light blonde, who purchased the "Bronze Auburn" color, even though it clearly states "for Brunettes" and warns that it might stain my hair. I am a risk taker, and really wanted to try it (for a costume), so I took the chance. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! I have extremely curly hair. I finger-combed my entire head with this while my hair was wet, then added (DevaCurl) product as usual, and continued to scrunch additional makeup in while drying my hair. I used an entire bottle to cover the majority of my hair, I wish I would have done 2 bottles for complete cover, but was still very happy with the look. (I have a lot of hair) It is a bit messy until dry, and as others state it is a bit drying on your hair, but since my hair is curly it was barely noticeable. Once dry I did not have bad transfer problems at all, just a bit on my hands when I would touch my hair too much. It washed out COMPLETELY in one wash, no staining at all. Pleasantly so surprised. Will buy again for sure.

Good thing this was for a one-day dye job because I could not stand it one more minute. I could not brush my hair once I applied it, my hair was so tangled by the end of the day. The purple barely showed up on my brown hair. Might be good for short light hair, but it did not work for me.

I love this product so far. But a few issues. You definitely are not getting a lot for your money. The bottle is tiny. My other issue is that when you apply it, it transfers like crazy. However, I have textured hair, but not crazy curly. Hair wax is nice, but not that great and chalk isn’t super colorful on me. This product actually works for my hair type and hair color. It is a great choice for a temporary color. It DOES leave a residue if you are wondering. It leaves a little texture to your hair, but it is not bad at all. If you have tried hair wax, it is nothing like that. It reminds me more of a hair mousse. Also, I have hair that is dark brown with no blonde in it whatsoever and, as you can see in my pictures, it shows up nicely. Use a generous amount. But it absolutely will show up on dark hair if you get the raspberry color like me. Overall, I would, and will, use this product again. But I took off a star for transfer and one for the tiny bottle. I am glad it was cheap. Also! It ships REALLY quick! I got it within the weak with free shipping!

I have been looking for something like this for such a long time! Something that would NOT be permanent so I could just not use it when I got bored with it, and something that wouldn't become a long time maintenance like permanent highlights. This is the one! I can just put it on my fingertip, apply it exactly where I want to color my strands, dry it using a hair dryer or naturally, and I am done! This is so much fun to use! The only thing I wish that it would come in a bigger tube.

I've always wanted to try blue hair, but I have allergies (and also a fear of being stuck with a look I hate), so I've never wanted to bleach my hair and use a permanent or semi-permanent hair dye. I also work in a position with some business and customer service elements, so I didn't want to have trouble if my boss felt it was unsuitable.When I saw this, I was intrigued enough to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did.At the moment, my hair is slightly longer than chin length. One tube did very light all-around color for the top layer of my hair. If you want darker color, I suggest doing stripes or ordering multiple bottles.The texture felt like lotion and was easy and minimally messy to comb into my hair, where it initially looked and felt a bit like styling wax, which added a punky edge I didn't consider to be a drawback. I was careful to let it dry before getting it too close to anything I didn't want colored, but I noticed very little transference even when wet.I decided I actually kind of loved the subtle, squint-to-see-it silver-teal that was suddenly popping in the right light. It softened up through the time it was applied.I left it on an extra day. Barely came off on the pillowcase overnight at all, just some faint traces of glitter. It washed out completely and easily (I did shampoo my hair twice, but I don't think it was necessary).I will happily purchase this again and have already hunted down some of the Raspberry color to give it a try for Valentine's Day.

The hair color arrived in a very small box - 1 oz - but seemed like there would be enough to do the job. However, once I applied the color to my hair, it pretty much soaked into my hair not leaving much trace of the green shade I was hoping to achieve. The color solution was a little watery, not as thick as paint, but went on relatively easy, but also left the ends pretty stiff. Once it dried, you could see a TINY hint of the green highlights but... not impressive. My hair is brunette, but more on the red side, although the photo of the model on the front of the box has jet black hair - so... maybe it would work if your hair is black? But I couldn't imagine that it would.

My 10 year old loves coloring her hair but I don’t want anything permanent (or semi permanent). We have used the spray-on hair color before but it makes such a mess during application and throughout the day as it wears off on clothing.This was easy to apply and stayed in her hair much better than those sprays. We have found a new product that satisfies her want of color and my preference of temporary. It washes out easy in the shower.My daughter does have long, light brown hair. It took the entire tube of coloring to get the amount of color she was looking for. It seems to be enough if you are going for streaks of color but you may want two if you are going for a lot of color.
