Great build quality, not that useful maybe?
Update: The review below was what I originally wrote and I gave it a 3/5. I've now had it on my phone for I think a year and the mechanism has not changed much at all. I'm extremely impressed by this as I would have expected it to become looser as time went on. I flip and spin the thing several times a day and it's held up. So I upped my rating 1 extra star for that. The company also contacted me informing me that they have listened and made a smaller version. In reality, the actual product here is excellent so it really gets 5 starts but the design is just not ideal. They've gone ahead and fixed the design so I'm okay with upping the rating for this one to 5 starts due to fantastic durability and excellent customer relations. Original review: Overall, this is a very well built product and the adhesive is excellent. The issue is that it's just not as useful as it may seem like it is. The mechanism by which it works, the flip out and the twist, is actually super versatile however the ring itself is a very awkward size and uncomfortable shape. I have moderate to large fingers and the ring is about twice as big as I would like it to be to fit a finger. It's also not large enough for me to fit two fingers in the ring. Even with small hands two fingers would be an issue. Finally, the ring itself is an uncomfortable shape. It's maybe a bit too skinny for my taste and digs into my fingers when I try to get a grip. While the mechanism is great, I find myself trying to get the friction on the mechanism to grip my finger at weird angles because the ring is enormous for even the very largest of fingers. The skinny ring digs in and the friction on the mechanism isn't strong enough to actually grip your finger. All in all, it's a really well made product but the design and usefulness could be better, at least for me personally. I'm going to look to other designs maybe. I had high hopes for this product but I just don't find it to be much benefit due to its lack of usefulness.

Why isn't this the #1 result on Amazon?
UPDATE: 4 months later, the ring still works as well as the day I got it, but the adhesive did fall off. I think this was because my case is textured, and I have no reason to think it would have failed on a smooth case. Fortunately, it came with 2 adhesive circles, so I'm just gonna put it back on. --- Been using this for about a week, and I have to say, this ring was the best $8 I've spent in a while. I bought a Pixel 7a, which is too big for me to comfortably hold with one hand, but I didn't like any of the cases with rings built in because they're huge. I was afraid it wouldn't adhere to my case because it has a little texture ("Crave Dual Guard for Google Pixel 7a Case"), but it hasn't budged. The clear sticker that goes between the case and the ring is starting to peel, but so far at least it's just aesthetic and not a functional issue. The ring itself works great. The hinge rotates around the disk, so it it's super adjustable. There's enough tension that the ring stays out wherever you put it. Even the weight of the phone doesn't push the ring back in if I'm using it as a kickstand. I was really hoping I could find something that would allow my new phone to work with my magnetic car mount. The hold isn't as secure as it was with my previous phone, where a large metal plate was built into the case, but it works about 90% as well. If I don't center it well on the mount or the charge cable pulls on it, it will fall off. Still, I'm really happy about the functionality this was able to add to my phone!

Good product-but
See updates below. The ring holds its position tightly at any position you choose, any of its 360 degree circle of positions or the 180 degree of flip movement for the ring on it's base. It will stay there with confidence, but not so tight that you need pliers to move it. I have an iPhone 11 Pro and mounted this finger ring at the center bottom edge of my JETech TPU case. The TPU case is hard and smooth, so the ring adheres to it as if it was installed on the phone it's self. Installing it on a TPU case (not a silicone case) enables you to remove the ring if you wish to without any possibility of damaging your expensive phone. The distance between my installed finger ring base and the iPhone 11 Pro camera is 3 inches. The width of the Yootech Wireless Qi-Charging Stand is 2 5/8ths, so plenty of room to use the charging stand. Three extra 3M double sided sticky pads are included when installation mistakes are made. (I wear an extra large glove) I use my pinkie finger to secure it in my hand while using the phone. Getting a phone out of front pocket of jeans is hard to do while sitting, with finger ring mounted at the bottom edge makes removing your phone possible with out wandering off the road trying. The base of this finger ring is about 30% smaller than the finger ring base sold by Apple. 06-13, six months later update. The ring base started to move I believe from my body heat combined with this summer heat in my front pocket. It finally fell off while on my bedside charger over night. So be sure and save those extra attachment pads. 11-09-24 Update. What is the service life of a device like this before it breaks? Good while it lasted, mine pulled apart after 10 months. I attempted to pull my phone out of my front jean pocked while driving, it resisted and the ring separated from its base. I was able to snap the ring back on it's base but it fits loose now. I can no longer trust it from coming apart while carrying the phone by the ring anymore and dropping the phone. The rating goes to 3.5 but these is no half stars so I'll give it 4 because it was good while it lasted. Also the ring began to spin freely a few months ago so using it as a kick stand no long applied before it broke.

Love them but you absolutely cannot remove & reuse them
*2ND UPDATE* I don't recommend this. I purchased this in July of 2022. As mentioned in my 2 previous reviews, it's a love hate. I've had this one stuck on my phone - directly on, no sticker barrier like they say to do since they does NOT work - and today it broke. I added a video of what I was left holding. The coating was getting on my hands too. It was on there for about 8 months. About 3 months ago the stand stopped working as well. It wouldn't hold the phone up so basically it could only be used when holding the phone. The biggest issue I have is that now I have the other piece of metal still stick on my phone case and it's a very nice OtterBox case. I have no idea how to remove it. *UPDATE* As listed below, in my original review, this is my third time buying one but it's very much a love/hate relationship. The first 2 I bought I stuck them directly onto the phone case but this one came with a clear sticker type thing that it says to put on the phone and then stick the ring onto it, instead of directly onto the phone or phone case. I followed the directions and within 24 hrs it has already come off (as pictured). I'm not surprised. It's just a sticker so of course it didn't stay on. So either you use the clear sticker and it comes off in a day or you stick it directly to the phone/case and you'll likely never get it off (unless you're ok damaging them). I won't be purchasing any more of these so I've changed my rating to 1 star. *INITIAL REVIEW* I absolutely love these! BUT, I'm about to have to buy a 3rd one because there is no way you can get them off of your existing phone case without damaging the case or the ring. If you do manage to get it to come off, you can't get the sticky part to come off so that you can use a fresh one. Which means you'd have to keep layering them up and that's not only tacky but it will greater problems with how far it sticks out and how well it actually stays on. The first one I had was for a phone that ended up breaking and when I replaced it I upgraded my phone. I got a new case for the new phone and couldn't get the ring off of the old case so I bought a second one. Now, my current phone case broke on the side which means I need to replace it and I can't get this 2nd ring to come off of the case. SO I have to buy another one. I can't imagine they'll fix this issue because either they can't or they won't because it brings in more revenue if you have to replace them each time something like that happens. Aside from that issue, I love these. The ring makes it much more convenient for me. When I'm holding my toddler I can easily switch from holding my entire phone to holding just the ring part so I don't drop it or I can get a safer grip than I could with other types holders. The ability to use it as a stand is so convenient! The color does wear off and show the silver undernear but that doesn't bug me. I have a toddler and being able to

Worked well for a year, but already showing serious aging...
Can be easily detached and reattached to a TPU case. However, it is not water resistant—it's started leaking copper goo and whatever enamel coating was on it has faded. It also has absolutely zero ability to be used as a kickstand after regular usage.
