Orbit 34784 3/4" PVC-Lock Flexible Repair Coupling

I noticed a puddle of water on my grass and dug up that area and discovered a small leak in a 45° angle elbow. This flexible repair pipe worked like a charm. It’s easy to slide on, but doesn’t leak.

This 3/4" item bends 90 degrees and easily. Don't know what others are talking about -- maybe 1" is very stiff. I roughly measured, cut off one end, shoved on the unit after wetting pipe with soap water and deburring, measured carefully for the final cut, and did the same, and both ends went on smooth and easy. No leaks although I roughed up the pipe a bit digging up the dirt, but used very fine sandpaper to remove any ridges, and if there is a leak, it is super slow.I also bought the Orbit 35809 PVC Lock Release Tools that had a deburring tool, and three lock release tools for different size pipes, just to have on hand if I screwed up. The deburring tool worked fine with no skipping and roughing up the edge.

Had an irrigation pipe burst during the Texas deep freeze. It was in a straight section of 3/4 inch pvc pipe and I was looking for a way to splice in a section without using the 4 90 degree elbow method. I found this product and ordered it, not sure if a no glue fitting would work. It is actually 17 3/4 inch long and I cut a 15 3/4 inch section out. The flex repair worked perfectly! I turned the sprinkler system on before filling the trench I had dug back in and there were no leaks. And it was easy to install with no gluing. Now if I can find an easier way to dig a hole, I’ll have it made!

If you've managed to break a buried sprinkler line, and looking for an easy repair - this is it. No gluing PVC joints, so you don't have to be meticulous on getting the old pipe clean, and the flexible pipe makes it easy to fit the new section in.I do wish the offered shorter lengths, but it worked where a I needed and saved a lot of frustration.

I am glad I found this, concrete workers broke the pipe under my house and I didn't want to pay $250 just to put a patch to it. This worked really well, will buy again.

I had dug up near the PVC main to the anti siphon valve and it was in the middle of palm tree root field that took VERY careful unearthing without damaging the adjacent piping. I had no room for error as a one-time fitment and this baby was the perfect ticket. The picture tells the story...it took me 2 full days to clear the root bundles just to get at the space to troubleshoot the leak(s). This was a Godsend.God Speed.

Had a leaking right angle joint. Able to access line to and from for over 18 inches. Cut out joint and appropriate amount and unit fit right in with no problem and no leak

Had a condensate drain that’s been a pain to fix. Got everything installed in less than 5 minutes and no leak.It says on the listing not for use with constant pressure, even if it’s below the rated pressure. Follow the directions and it’s fantastic.
