This stuff is awesome! My hair is between wavy & curly, and this stuff has been a god send. My hair comes out so curly, but not crunchy. The smell isn’t strong which I like. It lasts all day & night. I air dry, but I imagine the results would be awesome with a diffuser.

I’ve been trying many different curl products including mousse, gels, soufflé, creams, etc. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and have been looking for products that enhance my curls and tame the frizz but that doesn’t feel “heavy” on my hair. My hair stylist used this on me in the salon and my curls looked amazing. I diffused when I got home and was very impressed with how tight my curls were when they can often look more limp. My hair still felt so soft and did not feel like I had tons of product in it. I highly recommend this. It smells nice too. I’ve tried the spray but this product was much better for me.

This is a superior hair gel for curly hair. I use it every time I wash my hair; however, be careful when you order it. There are two sizes, 5 ounces and 11 ounces. Strangely, they cost nearly the same. I made the mistake of ordering the 5 ounce and was shocked to open my package and see such a small tube. When I placed my order, I had paid no attention to the size and assumed there was only one option. So, although I recommend this product, other buyers should look carefully at the size before placing an order.

Use it as a styling product on my fine curly hair. It is lightweight and goes on smooth. Does not really define curls serves as a good leave in conditioner. My only gripe is I feel that the product is priced too high.

This stuff is awesome. Holds and leaves curls soft not stiff like other products.

I use this after the Mizani miracle cream, I twist my curls and sprunch a bit to really encourage the curl and this product works wonders to define curl and tame the frizz! The product isn’t sticky, no residue, curl hold is delicate yet powerful, and it’s a moisturizing product too imo. I get a bit of a cast on the curls after using and air drying, but once my hair is dry, I break the cast by gently sprunching in the Mizani hair oil and my curls end up a total visual delight! And my hair smells great! The hold and manageability lasts well into 2nd and even 3rd day hair for me. My hair is thick, curly/wavy and I’ve found a product I can rely on in this. Mizani knows what is best!

I have 2a/2b, medium to high porosity hair, and lots of it. Think beachy waves. I've been looking for forever for lightweight products that manage my frizz while not weighting my waves down, and unfortunately this product isn't it. It smells great and the lotion doesn't seem too thick. I used a small amount of it, but my hair felt stringy and limp. Whomp. Seems like it's not a good fit for my hair type.

I'm a white woman with chin length corkscrew curly hair. I have a lot of hair but it's baby-fine so most styling products weigh down the curl. I also have a section right in the center of the top of my head that's almost straight and requires a curling iron to make it match the rest of my head. For years, I've used Moroccan Oil Styling Cream and been relatively happy with the results, scrunching after it's dry to get rid of the stiffness, and dealing with the buildup by using clarifying shampoo once a week. I came across Mizani Curl Defining Cream and ordered it on a whim. After using it for a whole week, I'm totally amazed with the results. My hair is curlier than it's ever been, including the semi-straight clump at the part, there's no stiffness whatsoever, and after a full week of daily use I haven't had a bit of buildup. Can't want to start using the shampoo and conditioner when my current supply of expensive Matrix finally runs out.
