Yes. I would say up to a 60 mm ball will fit in the pouch easily. not sure about an 80mm though.

Could i bring down a neighbours spying drone with this, using various objects like rock salt or clay balls?

Doubt it.. ok for firing ground bait out for fishing. Rubber perished quite quick anyway. Get a pump action shot gun.
