Amazon Basics AB-BR809-SN Modern Spring Toilet Paper Holder, 9.5 x 3.07 inches, Satin Nickel

I am so happy with this holder. When we changed all the metal fixtures and finishes to oil rubbed bronze we also had an opportunity to get rid of the open ended toilet paper holder. It was great for loading the paper but not so good for holding it. This holder was easy to install and a great addition to my Victorian Farmhouse bathroom theme.

This unit is in brushed nickel and looks great on my light colored cabinet vanity. The material is of good quality overall and it feels very sturdy. I had planned to pick one up at the local big box store, but decided to give this Amazon product a try and I’m glad I did. I did not install the unit on a wall but rather through my bathroom vanity. For that reason, I did not use all of the supplied anchors and screws but instead purchased my own machine bolts and nuts. The unit itself is of good quality but the anchors and screws supplied seemed quite cheap. Overall, I’d recommend buying some different hardware depending on your application. It comes with a template which made installing level achievable and easy.

This is a simple design and looks great. The materials are solid and everything showed up in great shape. The satin nickel matches other "stain nickel" items so there isn't a glaring mismatch if you get other components. Width of the modern standard is listed as 9.5inches, this is sufficient but not the same as some others. I replaced a holder that was 2-3 inches wider, and did so on a painted wall so had to patch up where the old one was since the mounting didn't fit in the same spots. Still works will and was straight forward to setup.

This is a great basic toilet paper holder. The finish is great and looks much more expensive than it is. One thing to be careful about is making sure you're happy with the distance between the two ends when you install. I used the template, but would have preferred the ends a little closer together given the length of the rod. The rod stays in place, but seems a little looser than it needs to be.

Installation is fairly easy and comes with "guide" trace paper for preview/aligning drilling which is helpful. Bronze finish looks nice. The only negative is that the roller "tube" feels ready to fall apart every time you change a roll it so I'm not confident on the lifespan of the spring or tube, but we'll see.

Really frustrating to install this and then have the spring not fit the tubes.

Looks nice. Installation straightforward for this type of product. Reasonably priced.

Super Halter. Ich hab wohl größere Dübel und Schrauben als die mitgelieferten benutzt weil man schon ganz schön Kraft aufwenden muss um die Feder zusammen zu drücken beim Rollen Wechsel... Ich hab mich an die Maße auf der Schablone gehalten. Falls jetzt jemand auf die Idee kommen sollte ich könnte das zu stramm montiert haben...

Delivered well and on time by Amazon.Since last buying items from this range the price has doubled. That's too far.Installation is easy enough BUT centre lines for the mounting screws needs to be 15.5 cm not 16.2. Luckily there is some side movement in the mountings.
