This is not simply a quality large, super soft blanket. His name is "Bubba", and he is my son's best friend and a member of our family. Per usual, we were well-stocked with baby blankets because they seem to accompany every baby gift, but from the time my sensory-seeking son was about 5 months old, he loved to be fully immersed in extreme softness, and the baby blankets simply weren't large enough, whereas the other throw blankets he enjoyed were way too large. He had a strong preference for soft microfleece textures and seemed to have a slight preference for blue things, so I did a search and came across this one in the deer print with the blue background. It's nice and large, but small enough to be portable too. Despite having plenty of other blankets to choose from, as soon as we pulled this one from the dryer, it was love at first sight. He began hugging the blanket to his cheek and cooed, and loved when I'd gently brush it against his face while we were nursing at nap and bedtimes. When he started a new daycare, Bubba was his lovey and his tether to home and to his mama. It got him through an otherwise challenging transition (this kid has never liked change). He'd ask for Bubba all of the time by reaching out, and saying, "Buh - Buh - Buh" and as he got a little older and had more control over his sounds around 8 months old, he was simply, "Bubba". My son just turned 2 and still needs his Bubba, maybe more now than ever. To give me a break, my husband now gives him a bottle of warm chamomile tea with a little breastmilk in it at bedtime, and the only way my son will let my husband put him down for the night, is if my husband rocks him while gently rubbing Bubba on his cheek like we used to do during nursing sessions. He is so sweet with this blanket. I've purchased three total just in case they ever stop manufacturing the deer one, so we have backups, because I learned the hard way with my first-born daughter that lovey backups are crucial. We purchased a random little fleece 4-dollar blankey for her after discovering I was pregnant, and by the time we realized she had "chosen" that blanket as her lovey, we couldn't find backups anywhere. I finally found one on Ebay that some greedy person was selling for 90 bucks knowing he'd eventually find a desperate sucker like me, and even though we were so broke, we forked over the money for it as her beloved "Blazey" had gone missing on a road trip. Anyway, if this ends up being your little one's special lovey, buy backups!!! It's a great deal for the quality, softness, and size, and could easily be the special lovey for a little one in your life.

4 Year update: Still some of my favorite blankets. I had a third baby and purchased a baby blue one and the other two cloud and pink blankets are still going strong! My 6 & 4 year olds still use them and they have held up great! I put them in the dryer at low temperature and they are fine. I will always recommend these blankets as they are lightweight yet durable and warm. I carry 3 in my tote bag (for each child) whenever we have a late outing or it’ll be cold. 2020 review: I recently bought the pink cloud blanket for my 4 month old. And I must say, it’s exactly what I was looking for! I received many baby blankets but as she grew they went covering her enough & some of the bigger ones were just too bulky. I was not disappointed when I received this blanket. It super soft & cozy, very light weight and perfect for my growing baby. It did not shed in the washer, I’ve been air drying it so I can’t say anything about dryer usage. But I loved it so much I decided to purchase 3 more! 2 (one Gray & 1 pink) to gift to two babies on the way and one (pink) for my 2 year old. It’ll be convenient to carry along for any outings and they do not take much room. I’ll comment later on the pink one I purchased for her. I also loved that it came in a little baggie with a zipper in case you was to store it back in there.

My little one has been outgrowing all his newborn baby essentials and I was on the prowl for a new blanket for him. I wanted to find something that was beautiful and big enough that he could grow into. This blanket is THE SOFTEST blanket ever!!! He absolutely loves it. I bought the blue dinosaur one and it looks so much better in person. The colors are deep and vibrant and it doesn't look too girly or boyish... just the right amount of both elements. Surprisingly, this blanket is also light versus heavy and washes very well. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon and I've literally bought HUINDREDS if not thousands of items. Not being paid to say this... just a very big fan! Don't hesistate, you won't regret!

It is what I expected, lightweight, super soft, cute pink color, and breathable, it’s not too thick but it’s good value for the price. I wanted something bigger for our baby to grow into when she outgrows her others and this is perfect for that!

Comfy and soft

I expected this blanket to be a bit heftier than it actually is, but it is a great size for a carriage or stroller, a nap on the couch for a toddler, or to wrap a baby in on a cold day, and our grandson loves the reindeer. I bought another one as a gift for a new mom and she was pleased. It is very soft, and the colors are nice.

This is the perfect size for a shorter person to throw over their legs while watching tv. Keeps you warm without being too cumbersome. Medium weight. I got the foxes for my mom and she loves it.

It is so soft! My baby loves it! There are no rips or loose strings. It is well made and breathable but warm.
