This book is significant due to its detailed and thorough treatment of the subject.

It's an advance level book for upsc optional. First read primary books i.e. Brian Nelson/ O.P.Gauba. You can use this book for value addition and to increase your depth of knowledge.

First check your need means which thinkers are in your syllabus. As I found only 10 out of 20 in this book for RPSC assistant professor exam.My this review sets fit for both Indian and western political thinkers.

Comparatively, this book has more of in dept analyses than its counterpart book(4th edition, WESTERN POLITICAL THOUGHT)by OP Gauba. However, Gauba's has more thinkers than this particular book.

6 pages in this book were blank. Nothing is printed on those pages. Otherwise pages are of excellent quality and the book is in perfect condition.

The writing is not perfect, and the explanation is not lucid enough. If you are someone who has some background knowledge on the subject, it will serve as a decent compilation of ideas of some major political thinkers.

It's an amazing book with a detailed description of the western thinkers. Loved it! ❤
