I look for several qualities in reading glasses and these great value readers fulfill all but one of those. Firstly and most importantly, they must perform as reading glasses should, giving clear, balanced vision with good quality lenses. Since I am often reading from a screen, I also look for the lenses that offer blue light filtering properties. The build should also be strong and robust and the fit comfortable. These glasses perform very, very well on all of those and out of all of the Amazon reading glasses I have purchased, (I have bought quite a few!) I'd put these in the top 15%. The lenses are very clear and do seem true to the strength they advertise. There is some evidence of a blue light filter on the lenses, although I'll leave it to someone more expert to check on this. The build is excellent with strong, sprung hinges and robust frames. The fit is also good for me. As someone with quite petite features, these fit as an average size, neither oversized nor particularly petite. The one and only 'feature' that is missing for me is that these glasses do not come with any sort of case, cloth or anything to protect and maintain them. It's a minor point and may not bother some people but for me, it does meany that I probably wouldn't purchase them again. These glasses arrive in a cardboard box and individually wrapped in plastic ziplock bags. If you plan on keeping them in a bag or carrying them around with you at all, then you will probably have to purchase separate cases which does add to the cost. Just something to bear in mind when buying.

Opticians wanted to charge me upwards of £90 for +1 glasses so decided to try these instead. Very nice and sturdy especially for the price.

Brilliant set of glasses. They fit well with a range of strengths available. In fact, they fit better than the extremely expensive glasses I got from the optician. Some colours suit better than others, but with 5 to choose from (approximately £3 a pair) I will just keep the colour I dont like as a spare. Very pleased.

They are cheap so break easily but they suit me I like to change colours to match my outfits And. I’ve got 12 pairs oops 11 just broke the arm off of one pair
