I have bought these for years for work. I use them on home inspections where there is heavy mold or after fires. They are excellent for protecting yourself from most harmful dusts or fine particulate like lead paint dust, sanding dust, mold spores etc. but you must have a good fitting mask and you must change the cartridges before they start to slow odor and particulate to bypass.

I was getting headaches and breathing a distraction while welding. This filter made my headaches stop and made the air feel smooth and friendly to breathe. Make sure the respirator they mount on fits under your helmet.

These are great for working in dusty conditions. I can work all day in the worst dusty conditions (e.g. sanding drywall joint compound or grinding ceramic tile grout) and breath easy with clean air the entire time.

Work well for my full face.

Have not used yet but the filters are sealed well keeping them clean for when needed.
