I bought these screens not for privacy, but for shade. We have full morning sun on our back porch and it was almost unbearable sitting on the porch while having our morning coffee. These shades/privacy screens really block out the sun, yet still allow filtered light. They allow airflow, so they don’t rip in the wind. As you can see from the photos, it blocks out much of the glare. Two photos are taken through the screen and the other one is without the screen. Great quality, not cheap feeling. Overall I would recommend this product.

Very good quality .easy to install with provided zip ties. It covered my balcony very well.. does not see through. All weather friendly and durable ..Recommended by me. Also affordable ,and looks great . Also stability is amazing even in hot windy or rainy weather

Put it up the day after Christmas or on Christmas & I love it! Can’t see our neighbors much & our neighbors can’t see us ! I can smoke freely on our balcony now! (; Comes w zip ties ! Was very easy to set up although I recommend having someone help just in case. I helped my husband put it up & I just held it tight while he zip tied the loop holes to the railing we have. We measured before getting this & it’s a good size. We did have to overlap it at the end of our railing because 10ft was too long for our almost 8foot railing but that’s okay.! It seems strong too

Did offer some privacy but also let light thru

Worked well to screen my balcony from the neighbor's bedroom windows and back patio. NOTE: It comes folded up, so first I ironed it on a low setting with steam to hammer out the wrinkles. Then I simply tacked it up to my cedar deck railing with about 20 heavy-duty staples from my staple gun, leaving a couple inches open on the bottom and the sides for some extra ventilation. Some other reviews said there was an 'opaque side' but to my eye this product is the same on both sides. So I chose to put the seam-side down, just for visual aesthetics. The brown-gray flecked material is a perfect match to my aged cedar and the staples practically disappear, making a seamless-looking installation. Instant privacy at a great price, but only 4 stars until we see how if it performs throughout the season. UPDATE: Promoting to 5 stars as it's still hanging perfectly after several heavy rainstorms. I'm in love with it and will be ordering more.

I would recommend for anyone who lives in an apartment with a balcony and enjoys their privacy. I wish the screen were a little thicker. 3 of these is about the right amount to go around. The fit is great, they function as I wanted it to. They are safe to use. It gets pretty windy here, I have seen them blow a bit but never come loose. The ties that come with the screen when pulled tight enough do a great job of holding the screen in place! These come in several colors. I got the darker color, to help with light absorbtion. These are also a pretty good value for the money.

The black is very translucent compared to the other colors. During the day it provides privacy, but at night, you can see pretty much right through it; I’m not talking just silhouettes but actual colors and detail through the screen. If you’re getting black, I would double the measurement so you can put two layers or just get a better quality screen altogether.

The sheet is made of very sturdy material and I think it will last for a long time and not be worn away as quickly as the previous one I had. It came with the ties which is very handy. It fits beautifully too. I’m very happy with this.

I bought this privacy screen for my balcony and I’m very happy with it. The material feels strong, the color blends in nicely with the surroundings, and it really helps block both wind and outside view while still letting some air flow through. Installation was quick and easy with the included ties. It already makes my balcony feel more private and comfortable. I liked it so much that I plan to purchase another one soon to cover the remaining area. Definitely a good buy for anyone who wants extra privacy without spending too much.

Great product and is giving the privacy we need

I bought the smallest size and simply cut it where I needed it to end. Love the gray color as it still lets some sun through and isn’t completely solid. The only thing I had trouble with is the zip ties almost not fitting around the railings of my balcony as well as not enough holes where I needed them. I ended up just putting the zip tie right through the fabric where necessary and haven’t had any tearing or issues since doing so.. and in any case I have a whole other piece of leftover fabric if it did. Overall such a great buy and great quality, would recommend to anyone!!
