Abrasion Australian Rules Football AFL Ball Size-5

I must admit I was hesitant about ordering this ball because of some of the other reviews I read, but let me put you at ease. This ball is amazing! It arrived inflated, so my fear of it not being able to hold air or inflate properly was put at ease. The material is cowhide and not some fake substitute material. Lastly, you really can’t beat the price. It’s a fraction of the price of ordering a ball from the AFL website. I plan on using this ball to practice when I’m not at footie training.

Love the texture for grip. Perfect stitching and feels great on the field of play or just for playing together with mates.

The footy arrived from halfway around the world two weeks earlier than the earliest delivery estimate--now that's the way to set and exceed expectations! The ball came fully inflated (some reviewers said theirs had not come inflated and some said it was difficult to inflate) and also came with instructions on how to properly inflate the footy. It would be nice if the instructions were on paper (easier to read and save), but they're on the plastic bag the footy came in, which could be easy to miss in the excitement of unpacking your new footy. Be sure to save that bag in case you need it later!I would love to tell you how the footy plays, but I'm in California in the midst of raging fires and the air quality is such that we all have to stay indoors until the air clears up, so I haven't had a chance to kick this puppy around, but it will be a great release to test it out when I can. The footy feels good in my hands and I've done a few mini-handpasses in my house (no broken lamps yet but it's just a matter of time) and I think this will turn out to be an excellent purchase.

I’ve become an American footy fan and just had to get a ball to see what it’s like. I knew it would take longer than usual to come from Australia, but it came in half to a third of the estimated time and still fully inflated. Now if it only came with tickets to the Grand Final!!

Australian rules football! As an American I love the AFL. Just wanted something to hold while I enjoyed watching the sport. It has a rubberized skin which is fine for me. Not like there is an “over 50” footie league near me in Columbus Ohio. However I can hand pass the ball around the living room and kick it out back in the yard. My two Australian Shepard dogs like chasing it down. If it can stand up to them seems to be a pretty good purchase. Love it!
